One young Wrexham talent is eager to get his Championship campaign up and running this season.
Wrexham signed 13 players during the summer transfer window, meaning big changes have been made to the squad.
Previously important stars have slipped down the pecking order, including Jay Rodriguez being left out of the Championship squad.
Lewis Brunt has lost his place on the left of Wrexham’s back-three, while the deadline day additions of Ben Sheaf and Issa Kabore mean there could be further changes to the eleven going forward.
Despite all the new talent arriving over the summer, Phil Parkinson has still been keen to keep Harry Ashfield involved.

Harvey Ashfield eyes Championship debut with Wrexham
Fans wanted Ashfield to play more after seeing him in action during the 2025 Australia pre-season tour.
The youngster is yet to line up in the league this season, but he has been named on the bench.
Ashfield also scored in the Carabao Cup versus Preston North End and is now keen to feature in the Championship.
He said, as per the Leader: “Obviously [the aim is] to play as many games as possible this season.
“Just showcase what I can do and help the team when needed. He [Parkinson] wants me to show what I can do on the pitch when he gives me the opportunity.
“Being on the bench is massive and I just want to push on. It means everything being on the bench, it is exciting and hopefully I can come on one game and show what I can do.”

Harry Ashfield names key difference in Championship teams
While he hasn’t played in the second tier, both of Wrexham’s Carabao Cup opponents this season (Hull City and Preston) are Championship teams.
Ashfield has named the key difference he noticed when lining up against them.
He continued: “I was excited to show what I can do against Championship level teams.
“It was a brilliant experience to see if I can challenge myself against that level of team.
“It is a big step-up physically. I have learnt that it is a different physical level but I am ready to push on.”
Ashfield, should he debut in the Championship, would likely start just off the main striker, Kieffer Moore.
