The Red Dragons have been very busy this summer, so we’ve compiled a rundown of all the confirmed Wrexham transfers made before and during the 2025/26 campaign.

Making the jump from League One to the Championship is no mean feat, and Wrexham knew full well that they needed to drastically alter their squad if they are to survive (or thrive) in the second tier.

Thankfully, Phil Parkinson has been given the full backing of the board to make the necessary changes this summer and we’ve seen 13 new faces arrive in the North East of Wales in the past few months.

After a poor start to the season, Wrexham were told to sign more players, which they did, adding three more stars on deadline day.

With so much going on, though, it can be tricky to keep track of all the comings and goings, so we’ve put together this guide on all the confirmed Wrexham transfers this summer.

Every confirmed Wrexham transfer in

Wrexham kicked off the transfer window with striker Ryan Hardie joining from Plymouth Argyle for a bargain fee. He bagged 12 goals in the Championship last season, so he’s a proven goalscorer which is exactly what Wrexham needed.

Wrexham followed that up with the surprise signing of Danny Ward, with the goalkeeper coming in on a free transfer after his Leicester contract ended. It is thought he will serve as back-up to Arthur Okonkwo.

Next up was Liberato Cacace, who arrived from Serie A outfit Empoli. Wrexham fans are excited by Cacace’s arrival, and this move was the first real signal that the Red Dragons were not about to be stagnant this summer.

Wrexham were really busy from there on, with three new arrivals all within the space of a week. George Thomason joined from Bolton Wanderers, Josh Windass left Sheffield Wednesday for Wrexham, and the Red Dragons once again broke their transfer record to sign Lewis O’Brien from Nottingham Forest.

In the past couple of weeks, we’ve also seen Conor Coady arrive from Leicester City for £2m and Kieffer Moore sign from Sheffield United for a similar fee.

However, the big deal of the summer saw Wrexham break their transfer record once more to sign Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town for a whopping £10m.

Every confirmed Wrexham exit this summer

The most high-profile exit, of course, is Paul Mullin, who is now on loan at Wigan Athletic. Ryan Lowe admitted Wigan couldn’t afford to buy Mullin, but there is a chance that move becomes permanent at some point in the future.

Meanwhile, Will Boyle joined Shrewsbury Town. The defender struggled for minutes last season and it’s no surprise he left Wrexham this summer.

It’s worth keeping an eye on all the players released by Wrexham this summer, with the likes of Steven Fletcher still looking for a new club. Elsewhere, Josh Adam landed at Ceske Budojovice after being released, while Mark Howard signed for Salford City.

Meanwhile, Sam Dalby has already found his next club, joining League One side Bolton on a free. The Dalby move is a fantastic one for Bolton, while Wrexham fans just hope Parkinson doesn’t regret his decision to let the striker go.

After those deals, forgotten man Jake Bickerstaff joined Cheltenham Town on loan and Luke Bolton went to Mansfield Town.

Most recently, Wrexham have cleared the deck even more, sending Mo Faal on loan to Port Vale and Seb Revan going to Burton Albion for the season.

Meanwhile, three players left the club on transfer deadline day.
