Wrexham’s ambition under owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac seemingly knows no boundaries. After a flurry of signings, the club could now sign Christian Eriksen.
Christian Eriksen is a free agent after leaving Manchester United. Earlier in the summer, reports loosely linked Eriksen with a move to Wrexham before reports on Friday confirmed that Wrexham are indeed looking to sign Eriksen this summer.
And the player’s agent even failed to rule out a possible move to the Racecourse this summer, fuelling speculation that Wrexham could actually sign the 33-year-old Danish international this summer.

What did Christian Eriksen’s agent say about a move to Wrexham?
Eriksen is a player with huge amounts of Premier League and international experience, having spent time with the likes of Spurs, Manchester United, Ajax, Brentford, and Inter Milan. There’s even been times when Eriksen has been linked with a move to Barcelona, showcasing how high he peaked during his playing career.
And Eriksen now looks set to venture out on a new journey, potentially with Wrexham. Speaking to Daily Mail, Eriksen’s agent said: “Wrexham are really upgrading everything both on and off the field, and it is a hugely impressive project, as you can see from the presence of people like Michael Williamson there.
“But Christian still wants to play in a first-tier competition and he absolutely wants to stay in Western Europe. There are some contacts going on but it has to suit both sides.”

Rival fans react as Wrexham target Christian Eriksen transfer
Needless to say, Wrexham fans are excited about the Eriksen rumours, though many are cautious and will only begin to celebrate once there are more concrete reports of Eriksen arriving in North Wales.
And there are also plenty of general football fans who are massively impressed by Wrexham’s ambition so far this summer. One football fan wrote on X: “That’s a plot twist I didn’t see coming, guess even Wrexham are aiming for some serious star power now.”
Another supporter wrote: “Wow, now this is a proper ambitious club. As another similar comment read: “Christian Eriksen to Wrexham would be a very serious sign of intent on their part.”
Another comment read: “Absolutely wild if Wrexham actually went for Eriksen,” and also: “That would be amazing. The story continues, how can you not love what Wrexham are achieving?”
Wrexham return to action with a pre-season friendly against FC Groningen on August 2nd.
