Wrexham continue to enjoy great success under Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds with a third promotion in a row a real possibility.
The end of another season is now in sight and Wrexham fans are once again experienced a promotion push.
Wrexham sit third in the League One table, level on points with second-placed Wycombe Wanderers in the final automatic promotion spot.
Wycombe beat Rotherham United 3-2 on Tuesday night, overtaking Wrexham to reclaim second place.
Phil Parkinson’s side must now make one last push to secure Championship and a remarkable third promotion in a row.
Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have backed Wrexham brilliantly and their success remains an inspiration to other celebrities.

Former Premier League boss hints at Wrexham-style takeover
McElhenney and Reynolds bought Wrexham in 2021, paying just £2m in the process.
Not only have the pair seen Wrexham go from strength to strength on the pitch, but they have also helped grow the profile of the club off the pitch.
‘Welcome to Wrexham’ has catapulted Wrexham into the mainstream and it’s no surprise to see other celebrities exploring investing in football clubs.
Billy Davies has now told SPFL News Now that he is looking to move into football investment after years out of the game.
The former Nottingham Forest boss – who managed Derby County in the Premier League – claims that he is not only partnering up with a Swiss investment fund, but also with ‘A-listers’ in America who want to invest too.
American celebrities are no doubt inspired by the Wrexham story with McElhenney and Reynolds, and Davies claims that Non-disclosure agreements are in place as they look to purchase a club.
“We are now partnering up, myself, the management company Superior Sports Management and Lee Doyle, we are partnering up with a Swiss investment fund, we are also partnering up with some A-listers from America in the music and film industry that want to invest in clubs,” said Davies.
“We’ve also got other investors in America that have approached us in relation to trying to buy clubs in the UK and abroad, so currently we’re in partnership with these people, the A-listers, the Swiss investment fund and these other guys that want to invest in clubs.
“I can’t go into too much details because of the NDA’s that have been signed, but what I can tell you is that we’re making great progress,” he added.
Other celebrities now involved in football
It’s unclear just who is working with Davies but there can be no doubting that McElhenney and Reynolds are inspiring other celebrities.
Tom Brady is now involved at Birmingham City whilst fellow former NFL superstar J.J. Watt is now involved at Burnley.
McElhenney and Brady exchanged barbs earlier this season whilst Watt supported Jay Rodriguez joining Wrexham from Burnley.
US rapper A$AP Rocky has been targeting Tranmere Rovers with plans to launch a documentary series just like ‘Welcome to Wrexham’.
If Davies can move forward with his plans, there may well be more celebrity investment to come with many wanting a story just like McElhenney and Reynolds at Wrexham.
