Wrexham co-owner, Ryan Reynolds has given his reaction to Paul Mullin, his goal and celebration against Barrow, this weekend.
Barrow were welcomed to The Racecourse this week and took the lead with less than a minute on the clock.
In Phil Parkinson’s 75th home match in charge of the Reds, Steven Fletcher levelled things up late into first half added time. This was added to by another one for the Scotsman and a world-class Paul Mullin goal.

Fletcher scored his third in the second half to help confirm a comfortable win for the home side. This secured yet another three points at home which sees the Reds sit in third place, level with second spot.
Despite Wrexham’s Scottish frontman taking the majority of praise for his first hat trick in English football, Ryan Reynolds has picked out another star…
Ryan Reynolds on Paul Mullin’s wonder goal
It was a crazy end to a lengthy first half. Due to injury, there was an additional 16 minutes before the interval. Given that the away side had taken the lead with just seconds on the clock, it could have been difficult to recover.
Once Fletcher had levelled the scores, Mullin put Wrexham ahead with a great goal which caught everyone off guard.
A free kick from the edge, closer to the corner, of the box looked for all the world like it was a position for a cross. Nevertheless, the Reds’ talisman stood over the ball and curled it perfectly into the top corner. This sparked a passionate celebration from Mullin in front of the temporary Kop.
This celebration was posted by the club on social media and has now been reacted to by co-owner, Reynolds. On Twitter, he posted: “The love for this club and town: Indescribable.”
As everyone saw in ‘Welcome to Wrexham‘ and in plenty of social media moments, Reynolds’ love for the club is huge. Himself and Rob McElhenney have put a lot into the club and it is all paying off.
From the video, it is clear to see how much scoring for the club means, not only Mullin but, to all the players. Every player gets in a huddle with the Welshman to celebrate the goals with Elliot Lee and James McClean at the front of the queue.
Everyone knows the admiration that the co-owners have, Reynolds has shown this on his famous social media once again. Long may this continue as Wrexham rise up the Football League.
