Paul Mullin was a prolific goalscorer for Wrexham but he may already have scored his final goal for the club.
Wrexham signed Paul Mullin on a free transfer from Cambridge United in 2021.
Four years on, Mullin has 110 goals for the Red Dragons, making him one of their all-time top goalscorers.
However, the 30-year-old has joined Wigan Athletic on loan for the 2025/26 season.
Prior to departing this summer, the striker had fallen out of favour under Phil Parkinson.
Parkinson explained why he dropped Mullin in Season 4 of Welcome to Wrexham, which aired months after the Englishman’s last competitive goal for the club.

Watch Paul Mullin score for Wrexham vs Stevenage
Wrexham signed Jay Rodriguez and Sam Smith on January 31, 2025.
After their arrivals, neither Mullin nor Ollie Palmer made another League One appearance last season.
Days before Smith and Rodriguez’s deals were confirmed, Wrexham played Stevenage at the Racecourse Ground.
The tie ended 3-2 to the visitors, handing the Welsh team their first home defeat since March 2024. It was a negative result, but Mullin did score.
Ollie Rathbone’s scuffed shot made its way through a crowded Stevenage box before the former number 10 headed the ball into the back of the net.
Fans probably didn’t realise it at the time, but that may well be the last goal they see Mullin score as a Wrexham player.
Paul Mullin questioned Phil Parkinson’s ‘trust’ in him
After he was completely dropped from the League One matchday squad, there were reports of a bust-up between Mullin and Parkinson.
The striker quickly dismissed those rumours on social media, but he still never played a league match after January 28.
Apart from quashing the bust-up claim, the Liverpool-born ace remained fairly silent on being axed until Welcome to Wrexham Season 4 came out.
Then, Mullin spoke about Parkinson, suggesting the manager had stopped trusting him as much.
He said: “I don’t know, it’s been difficult, I don’t know what’s caused him to trust me less, but he clearly does. Obviously he wants the best for the team.”
Mullin will still have another year left on his Wrexham contract when his Wigan loan ends. But with the club now in the Championship and Parkinson not wanting to play him in League One, it’s hard to see the forward making another appearance in North Wales.
