Wrexham have confirmed the signing of Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United, and Sunderland’s fans have had their say.
Recent reports said that Wrexham were moving to sign Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United in a £2m deal.
The striker has now become the Red Dragons’ seventh signing of the summer transfer window, with Phil Parkinson commenting on Moore’s arrival after it was officially confirmed on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old, who turns 33 next week, has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, keeping him in Wales until 2027/28.
Wrexham fans are pleased with Moore joining their club ahead of the Championship season.

Why new Sunderland fans love new Wrexham signing Kieffer Moore
Sunderland fans, who have no real rivalry with Sheffield United or Wrexham, commenting on Moore’s move may seem odd to some supporters, especially those from North America who don’t follow much of the EFL away from the Dragons.
But the reason for the Black Cats’ fans doing so is because of the role Moore had in helping their team win promotion to the Premier League.
The 2024/25 Championship play-off final was contested between Sheffield United and the North East outfit.
Sunderland, despite finishing below the Blades in the normal league table by some distance, came out on top thanks to a 95th-minute winner from Tommy Watson.
Moore had an unwelcome role in that goal, losing possession with a loose pass into space that eventually led to Watson scoring.
Chris Wilder, who was Sheff Utd’s manager at the time, commented on the striker’s error post-match, saying: “His performance and his contribution this season shouldn’t be defined by that. None of us should be defined by that. We got 92 points and that gets you up most seasons.”
