Wrexham are aiming to win promotion from League One in the 2024/25 season.
The Red Dragons have now secured back-to-back promotions and a third on the spin is firmly within their grasp.
Wrexham drew 2-2 with Cambridge United in their last League One fixture, knocking them out of the automatic promotion places.
Wycombe and Birmingham City are currently occupying the top two spots but with still over half the campaign to play, automatic promotion cannot be ruled out.
Wrexham could be given a promotion boost by a former player this month as well, as they aim to keep their spot in the play-offs.
Fans would no doubt have taken a top-six finish when the 2024/25 season first got underway but the fact they could still finish first or second is very impressive.
One man who has played a crucial role in their rise up the League One table this season is Ryan Barnett.

Wrexham star Ryan Barnett rivalling Mohamed Salah and Bukayo Saka
Barnett arrived at the Racecourse Ground in 2023 from National League side, Solihull Moors.
The right-wing-back had a solid first 18 months at the club, helping Wrexham win the fifth tier and finish second in League Two.
The 25-year-old’s form has been nothing short of remarkable this season, however, with Wrexham handing Barnett a new contract last month following transfer interest from the likes of Preston North End and Stoke City.
The Telford-born star, ahead of the meeting with Bristol Rovers, has made 19 League One appearances in 2024/25.
In said ties, despite lining out as a defender, Barnett has notched a staggering seven assists.
No player in League One has provided more than the Wrexham ace this term, while only three other players across the top-four tiers are outperforming him – none of which are defenders.
| Player | Assists |
| Bukayo Saka | 10 |
| Mohamed Salah | 9 |
| Finn Azaz | 8 |
| Ryan Barnett | 7 |

Wrexham may need Ryan Barnett rival soon
While Barnett has been superb for Wrexham so far this season, the club may need to consider signing some better competition for the wing-back.
The Englishman simply cannot start every game for the Red Dragons, especially during busy periods when they are often playing twice a week.
However, at present, the competition in the right-wing-back spot is low, with Sebastian Revan and Luke Bolton nowhere close to Barnett’s level.
But Wrexham could sign Barnett backup in the January transfer window after one player decided he is looking for a new challenge this winter.
