Wrexham fans have made their feelings on Paul Mullin very clear following an interesting transfer question.
Paul Mullin has been at Wrexham for four years now, signing on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.
He’s been a superb servant to the club but has fallen heavily out of favour in the last six months.
Mullin’s relationship with Phil Parkinson was discussed by the player in the newest episode of Welcome to Wrexham.
It comes after he failed to make a single league appearance for the Red Dragons after January 28, 2025.
Mullin’s Wrexham future is uncertain, and it’s unlikely to have become much clearer after Ryan Hardie was signed this week.

Wrexham fans give Paul Mullin response to transfer question
Shortly before Hardie’s transfer was confirmed, Wrexham fans were asked who they thought had been the best signing of the Parkinson era.
And, not too surprisingly, fans took to social media to vote heavily in favour of Mullin taking home that award.
One fan wrote: “It’s Mullin and it’s not close.”
A second Wrexham supporter replied: “Got to be Mullin.”
“Paul Mullin,” a third simply responded, with a fourth echoing: “Paul Mullin.”
Another stated: “Paul Mullin 100+ goals as a free transfer just can’t be overlooked.”
A sixth gave a mention to Steven Fletcher as well as Mullin, writing: “Mullin/Fletcher both played big parts getting us where we are.”
While another tweeted: “Mullin, Okonkwo, Matty James.”
How Paul Mullin can keep Wrexham place
After Hardie’s signing, Mullin is once again likely the fifth or sixth-choice striker at Wrexham now.
Hardie, Sam Smith, Jay Rodriguez and Jack Marriott are all expected to be ahead of the attacker.
But Mullin was told how to get back in the Wrexham team by Humphrey Ker in the latest episode of Welcome to Wrexham.
He said: “I think there’s definitely a future for Paul at the football club.
“I think it’s a case of working hard, training hard, and working on the training pitch to dislodge one of the other strikers. I think for Ollie, age is a factor, that’s a taller task for him.”
