Wrexham supporters are all in agreement over Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s incredible transfer business ahead of the 2025/26 Championship season.
The 2025/26 Championship season gets underway in just over a week, and Wrexham have prepared brilliantly for it.
Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have rightly backed Phil Parkinson in the summer transfer window to prepare his side for the challenge of the Championship, and that has meant that the Hollywood pair have spent heavily.
Before the tour Down Under, Wrexham signed Ryan Hardie and Danny Ward, whilst a flurry of deals were completed following the conclusion of pre-season in Australia and New Zealand.
Wrexham fans have since reacted to the business that the club has undertaken so far this summer, and it is safe to say they are more than impressed.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have given Wrexham supporters the license to dream ever since they acquired the club in the National League, and four years later, the dream of reaching the Premier League looks likely.
Following promotion from League One, Wrexham have spent big, and Red Dragons supporters are incredibly excited for the upcoming season as a result.
Taking to social media, one fan said: “10/10. Never imagined the amount or quality we have signed. Was needed, though, to take us from a League One side to one that can more than compete in the championship.”
Another supporter, via X, said: “We’ve been much more active than I thought and we’ve attracted better quality too.
“Hopefully the deals for those three get over the line and then I think we’re more or less sorted.”
Every Wrexham fan has reflected positively about the deals made, with one Red Dragons supporter suggesting that the signings could help them challenge for the play-offs, however they also said: “We are short of an extra central defender as I think O’Connor, O’Connell and Scarr are not upper mid-table championship.”
Whether you think it has been a perfect summer window for Wrexham, or there is still business to do, one supporter summed it up perfectly by labelling it as ‘absolutely bonkers’.
Wrexham have prepared brilliantly for the summer window
Following promotion to the Championship, it is clear that there is an ambition for the club to seize its opportunity in the second tier, and that has been shown by the brilliant transfer business so far.
The key behind Wrexham’s success this summer so far has ultimately been the preparation behind the scenes, which has given them the chance to sound out all viable options regarding players.
Before the summer transfer window opened up, Shaun Harvey said: “There’s lists no doubt prepared of players in each position, no doubt for different divisions, that we know are coming out of contract at the end of this season that will be of interest to us.”
Harvey said that in May, and since, the club have kept to their word by bringing in a sufficient amount of players, making them prepared for the challenge of the Championship.
