Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac’s transfer business continues to hit new heights this summer, but fans of other Championship clubs think that Wrexham are set to make a huge mistake.
Wrexham have significantly bolstered their options ahead of the 2025/26 Championship season, with Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac spending a large amount of money this summer.
Red Dragons boss Phil Parkinson made it clear that he needed backing this summer regarding transfers, particularly in the striker department.
As a result, Wrexham signed Ryan Hardie from Plymouth Argyle, whilst Josh Windass arrived following his Sheffield Wednesday exit.
Wrexham will not stop there, however, as the Red Dragons look set to acquire Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United.
On the surface, it appears that Wrexham have done well to find a proven Championship goalscorer, but rival Championship supporters believe that the move could backfire for Reynolds and Mac.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac told they are making mistake with Kieffer Moore transfer
Wrexham have agreed a fee of £4m for Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United, with the Welshman showing a desire to sign for the Red Dragons.
However, Championship rival fans believe that it is a poor piece of business on Wrexham’s behalf.
On X, one Cardiff City supporter said: “£4 million on a 33-year-old Kieffer Moore is criminally bad business. Sums Wrexham up, showing off their money over making good signings.”
That was backed up by a Swansea City fan, who said: “He will do ok but 4M on a 33-year-old!
“It’s going to be ok short term, but clearly their recruitment team is shockingly bad or non-existent.”
Others then went on to label the decision to sign Moore for £4m as both ‘embarrassing’ and ‘crazy’ because of the high fee involved in the deal.

Pressure will be on Kieffer Moore to perform at Wrexham
Because of the large fee that Wrexham are set to sign Kieffer Moore for, there will no doubt be plenty of expectation on the striker to deliver in the upcoming campaign.
Moore arrives with a solid reputation in Championship football, and bringing him to the Racecourse Ground will hopefully reap huge benefits for Wrexham; however, £4m is a very large amount for any player at his age.
The Sheffield United forward has many doubters from opposition clubs, particularly those at Cardiff City and Swansea City, and the Welshman may use that as motivation to thrive on the pressure and get back to his goalscoring best.
