Norwich City are set to host Wrexham at Carrow Road this weekend, and the Canaries are looking for their first home win of their Championship campaign.
Confidence appears to be flowing through the Norwich City team ahead of their clash with Wrexham, a team they have not lost to in 55 years.
Norwich have secured eight victories in the 10 games they have faced Wrexham across the club’s history.
A win for Norwich would deny Wrexham a piece of history; should Phil Parkinson’s side secure a victory at Carrow Road, they will secure back-to-back wins for only the third time ever in the second tier of English football.
Emi Marcondes is confident Norwich City will secure victory over Wrexham
Emi Marcondes is set to make a return to football for Norwich City after a spell on the sidelines with an injury, and he is looking to secure a win immediately with the Canaries.
Norwich have struggled at Carrow Road this Championship campaign; however, there appears to be a confidence around the club that they can secure a victory over Wrexham this weekend.
Speaking to Pink Un, he said: “I understand it; it’s a great stadium we have, and it should be a place where it’s really, really hard to win as an away team.

“So, I understand it, but I also believe that it’s going to be like that this season. We really need the place to be bouncing with us, to be positive. Especially against Wrexham, we need all of the momentum we can get at home.
“I’m just excited to play them, because I think they really fit us in terms of the way they play and the way we want to play, our strengths. So, I’m looking forward to celebrating with the fans after.”
Norwich City are looking to avoid equalling a four-year record.
The Canaries manager Liam Manning has spoken about a desperation to secure a victory at home for the fans ahead of their game with Wrexham.

Norwich City are looking to avoid equalling a poor opening to a campaign when they lost three home games in the 2021-22 season.
A loss to Wrexham would see them equal that record, and while the same fate is unlikely as this occurred in the Premier League and they were relegated, it does not bode well for their play-off ambitions.
