Ollie Palmer has been in fine form for Swindon Town this season since leaving Wrexham for first-team football, ending up at the League Two side.
Having earned three consecutive promotions with the Red Dragons, being an important piece in this journey, everybody involved with the Welsh club wished him the best in his new adventure.
It has been a successful start to his life at the former Premier League side, with Palmer scoring against Newport County in their victory, keeping them in the battle for the League Two title.
While this goal earned them three points and kept them on the heels of Walsall in the fourth tier of English football, it also earned him and his teammates a reward from their manager.

Ian Holloway rewards Swindon Town’s squad with an extra day off after Newport County win
Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway has been linked to the Blackpool job after his former side sacked Steve Bruce after a slow start to the League One campaign, threatening to derail ‘The Robins’ start to the season.
However, the manager is fully focused on the job he currently has with the League Two side, and that also means his man management, which he has seemingly perfectly nailed, according to Ollie Palmer speaking to the Swindon Advertiser, as he gave them a day off.
He said: “I know you don’t get international breaks too much in this league, but we have earned it [the day off].
“It will be good to have the chance to refresh and reset. It is so intense to come in every day, which is how it needs to be, but then it is good to have a few days apart to completely reset. Then we will come back in firing.”
Ollie Palmer was key behind the decision to take a day off at Swindon Town
Holloway explained how the decision came about to give them a day off before returning to training ahead of their next fixture in League Two.
It may have helped that they will not have a fixture until October 18, when they play Accrington Stanley, after their game with Notts County was postponed.
He offered various options to the Swindon team, with the players, including former Wrexham star Palmer, voting on which they would prefer.

Holloway said: “I gave them three scenarios before the game, and if they gave me a performance and the right result, then they could choose the one they liked the most.
“They have managed to do that, so they are absolutely buzzing in there [the dressing room], because we have not got a game next week.
“They are in charge of their own destiny, and that is what they have got to do.
“They have earned an extra day or two off. I gave them the three scenarios, and they chose the one that I thought they might.
“We know when to work them, and we know when to give them a little bit of TLC, but it is great.
“I am empowering them to be a group, and a lot of the things they saw, you could listen to the back line encouraging and driving people into things.”
