George Dobson has been a superb addition to the Wrexham squad for the 2024/25 season.
The midfielder completed a free transfer to the Red Dragons during the 2024 summer transfer window from fellow League One side, Charlton Athletic.
While Phil Parkinson was cautious in his approach to embedding new additions early in the campaign, George Dobson was thrown straight into the eleven and has thrived ever since.
Wrexham legend Andy Morrell praised Dobson earlier this month, naming him as his Man of the Match versus Mansfield Town.
The former Charlton Athletic man has was also excellent in the 1-0 win over Lincoln City last week.
So far, he has started every single one of Wrexham’s League One fixtures in 2024/25 and provided two assists.

Wrexham star George Dobson leading League One in two areas
After moving to Wales, Dobson was blown away by one Wrexham factor, recently praising the club’s mentality.
But if anything, it should be his teammates who need to take inspiration from the 27-year-old.
The Red Dragons are flying high at the top end of League One this season, with a third successive promotion still very much on the cards.
Their superb start to the current campaign is in no small part due to the excellent form of Dobson.
He has dominated the midfield battle in the majority of matches this term, as highlighted in two very impressive statistics.
As per Opta, Dobson has made 57 takes in League One this season – at least eight more than any other player in the third tier.
He has also won possession a staggering 119 times – 10 more times than second-place Lee Evans of Blackpool.

George Dobson to miss Burton vs Wrexham
Unfortunately for Wrexham, they are going to be without their star midfielder for the meeting with Burton on Saturday.
Dobson was booked in the 1-0 win over Barnsley in midweek and is now suspended after accumulating five yellow cards.
Parkinson has a big Wrexham decision to make vs Burton now he is going to be without the Englishman.
The Red Dragons have plenty of ways they can replace Dobson for the clash, but striking the right balance in what is set to be a tricky away fixture could prove difficult.
