It has now been revealed that Wrexham, at The Racecourse, are amongst some elite Premier League sides as they are one of nine teams to do one impressive thing.
It has been an ideal start to life back in the EFL for Wrexham this season. This sees them occupying third place, at the time of writing.
The job that Phil Parkinson has done taking the Reds from the National League to the top end of League Two has to be commended.
There have been many standout stars who have performed well. From the obvious Paul Mullin and Elliot Lee to unsung heroes like Ben Tozer and Arthur Okonkwo. There have been many great performances.

This has seen the Reds maintain a position at the top end of the table as they look to confirm back-to-back promotions. A stat has now emerged to show just how good the Reds have been so far this campaign.
Wrexham form at The Racecourse praised
Wrexham’s excellent position in the table has been built on a foundation of excellent home form this season. They have played 13 games in North Wales this campaign and have lost just one of those. That was against MK Dons in the opening game of the season.
Their other 12 games at The Racecourse have seen them win ten, draw just two games and collate the most points in the league. With 32 points, the Reds have two points more than second-placed Stockport County, who are top of the league.
That excellent home form has seen them score in every single one of their 13 games League Two games at home. Now Playmakerstats on Twitter, have compared the Reds to other sides that have done the same this season.
They said: “Scored in every league game at HOME (top 4 tiers; 2023/24). Aston Villa, Brighton, Bristol Rovers, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Peterborough United, Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves, Wrexham.”
To be amongst the elite sides of the Premier League is quite a great achievement. With Villa, Man City, Newcastle and Spurs all in the hunt for Champions League, great company to be in.
Although it is great to be involved in this statistic, the home form is what matters more. That has been great. That has been the bedrock of the performances this campaign and long may it continue moving forward.
