Arthur Okonkwo leads crucial League One statistic
Arthur Okonkwo was named League One player of the month for March after producing a run of excellent performances in the sticks for the Red Dragons.
The goalkeeper has now kept a total of 16 clean sheets this season and it is no surprise he is leading the way in a crucial statistic – the foundation for much of Wrexham’s success this campaign.
According to Opta, Okonkwo has the highest save percentage in the division and the third highest in the 92 football league clubs this season.
The Wrexham star showed his ability during the 3-0 win over Burton as he flew off his line to smother a chance with the game in the balance at 0-0.

Should Wrexham achieve their goal of promotion this season, the Wrexham squad may look very different at the start of the next campaign.
Several players are likely to move on due to lack of first-team opportunities such as Ollie Palmer and George Evans but Okonkwo has proven that he is ready to make the step up and cement his number one position in the side.
