Wrexham have not got off to a great start in the Championship this season, as they have only collected four points from their opening five fixtures.
This has seen the Red Dragons occupy the spot directly above the relegation zone, which has now started to see pressure rise on manager Phil Parkinson.
Pressure on Parkinson seems to be primarily down to their transfer spend in the summer transfer window, as the club brought in 13 new signings before the deadline, spending a total of £33 million.

This has seen many pundits start to raise questions around the future of Parkinson, believing that if he does not correct results soon, he will be out of his current managerial role with Wrexham, despite all the work he has done to get them to the Championship.
Darren Bent believes Wrexham’s transfer spending was ‘nuts’ and could cost Phil Parkinson his job
Speaking on talkSPORT about the uncertainty around the future of Phil Parkinson at Wrexham, Darren Bent addressed exactly why this may be the case.
He said: “When you see who they’ve brought in, I didn’t expect them to be one point above relegation. They’ve brought in Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich, Ben Sheaf, a good player from Coventry, and Callum Doyle, also a good player.
“They’ve brought in people on a free like Josh Windass, who we know can score goals as well. Also, Kieffer Moore and Conor Coady. They’ve spent about £30m. Honestly, it’s nuts.

“They’ve signed all those players, and expectations are going to go right through the roof. I am shocked… but the Championship is a different beast.”
Bent believes that if their current form continues, then Parkinson will not have long left as manager of Wrexham.

Ian Walsh believes Phil Parkinson needs time to get results for Wrexham
Wrexham are making their return to the second tier of English football for the first time in 43 years, and it has not been a dream start.
However, speaking with BBC Radio Wales Sport about this and whether Parkinson should be kept on as manager, Walsh believes that time is needed to allow the 13 new signings to gel before they find results.
He said: “”If they’re sensible, they’ll give Phil Parkinson enough time to turn things around.
“It’s difficult, back-to-back-to-back promotions, and you drag a lot of new players into the club…it’s going to take time for them to work each other out.”
