The new football season is now a month old, and that means the new release of EA SPORTS FC is just days away.
Wrexham fans didn’t have much to shout about this weekend, as Phil Parkinson’s side fell to a 3-1 defeat against Queens Park Rangers.
Parkinson will hope for better against Norwich City next weekend, but some fans may look to FC 26 as some relief this week.
EA SPORTS will release the latest instalment of gaming’s biggest football title later this week, with fans all over the world set to pick up their controllers once more.
A new game brings new player ratings, so let’s take a look at how Wrexham’s summer spending spree affects the player ratings on FC 26…

Ben Sheaf takes top spot, just ahead of fellow summer additions Nathan Broadhead and Issa Kabore.
Wrexham’s summer spending spree is represented here, as the top 10 player ratings are all players who arrived this summer.
Arthur Okonkwo, George Dobson and Ollie Rathbone are the highest-rated players who turned out for Wrexham in League One last season.
Where is Callum Doyle?
Strangely, Wrexham defender Callum Doyle is currently missing from the FC 26 database.
Wrexham signed Doyle from Manchester City in August, striking a deal worth around £5million, rising to £7.5million.
Doyle is nowhere to be seen on the FC 26 database, though: not with Wrexham and not with City either.
This will hopefully be rectified in the coming days, or shortly after full release, with the defender a strange omission from the game as things stand.
Wrexham fans can expect a rating of around 71 for Doyle, which is his final rating on FC 25, as noted on SoFIFA.
Conor Coady part of special group of FC 26 players
EA Sports have already released a lot of information about FC 26, including news on Wrexham defender Conor Coady.
Pitch Notes released on Friday confirmed that a special version of Coady will be available for absolutely free in the standard Season Pass of FC Ultimate Team.
Coady will receive boosted attributes, taking his card from a 72 overall to an 84 overall, and he will be part of a special group of players to receive the first boosted cards of Ultimate Team.
That card will be a must-have for all Wrexham fans, just like the recent Andy Cannon card on FC 25.
Is Wrexham’s STōK Cae Ras in FC 26?
More and more Championship stadiums have been added to FC in recent times, even those that haven’t been in the Premier League.
For those unaware, all Premier League teams receive their real stadiums in the game, and they tend to keep them even after relegation.
Bristol City’s Ashton Gate, Coventry City’s CBS Arena and Blackburn Rovers’ Ewood Park are all in the game, as confirmed on EA’s official website.
Sadly, the STōK Cae Ras is not involved in FC 26, but we hold out hope of seeing Wrexham’s famous home ground enter the game down the line.
