Wrexham saw their chances of securing promotion to the Championship automatically dealt a big blow on Saturday.
How things can change in the space of just seven days. After beating Burton Albion last time out, Wrexham had moved six points clear of third-place Wycombe Wanderers.
The Chairboys looked to be faltering, and a second-place finish for the Red Dragons seemed to be nailed on.
However, Wycombe beat Huddersfield Town in their game in hand earlier this week before seeing off Stevenage by one goal to nil on Saturday.
At the same time, Wrexham drew 0-0 with Wigan Athletic, meaning there is now just one point seperating the two sides.
With four games of the season to play, the battle for second is expected to go down to the wire, and Wycombe boss Mikde Dodds has spoken out.

On paper, Wycombe have a tougher ended to the campaign but with a better goal difference and just one point in it, anything could happen.

Now, as per Bucks Free Press, manager Dodds has commented on the promption battle, inisting that his team are still in it.
He said: “I thought the results against Shrewsbury and Reading were harsh as we had decisions go against us, so we deserved that today for those two games.
“From my point of view, after Reading, everyone thought that was it as Wycombe were wobbling but we’ve shown in the last two games we are capable of big performances and we’re still in it.
“We created chances and at this stage of the season, the first goal is vital and the longer it was 0-0, they made it hard for us.”

Despite dropping two points, Wrexham are predicted to finish second in League One come May.
However, Opta’s supercomputer suggests that their chances of doing so have decreased a great deal following the 0-0 draw with Wigan.
After what was an underwhelming display, Phil Parkinson commented on Wrexham’s promotion chances, insisting they are still in a great position.
He told BBC Sport: “We’ve had a moment where the referee will look at the penalty decision and realise it was pretty harsh not to get that because the lad’s (Luke Robinson) got his arm in an unnatural position.
“All in all, we’ll take the point today, we’d love to have been sat here with three.
“With four games to go, to still be a point clear in second is a great position to be in.”
