Wrexham and Huddersfield Town are set to go head-to-head in a League One meeting on Tuesday evening.
After a 0-0 draw with Bolton Wanderers last time out, Wrexham were given a small boost in their hunt for promotion.
Wycombe Wanderers lost to Birmingham City, allowing Phil Parkinson and co. to climb within two points of the automatic promotion places.
However, the battle for second is still incredibly tight, and the Red Dragons cannot afford to drop any points from now until the end of 2024/25.
But the Welsh outfit are now facing one of their toughest tests of the season when Wrexham travel to Huddersfield Town on Tuesday evening.
In turn, Parkinson needs to get his team selection for the meeting spot on.

Phil Parkinson could hand rare start to fringe Wrexham player vs Huddersfield Town
There is much debate surrounding Wrexham’s best eleven right now due to the mixed form of certain players.
Who should partner Sam Smith up front is an interesting debate, as Jay Rodriguez hasn’t set the world slight since his January transfer from Burnley.
Jack Marriott and Paul Mullin are the most viable options to replace him, but it remains to be seen if either will get a chance.
The wing-back spots are also full of talent right now, with Wrexham fans praising Ryan Longman for his showing against Bolton.
Longman can play on both flanks, and fans would no doubt love to see him handed another chance on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, to ensure they a second clean sheet against Huddersfield, Parkinson could hand a rare appearance to centre-back, Dan Scarr.

Dan Scarr helped Wrexham keep clean sheet vs Huddersfield
The two sides met at the Racecourse Ground earlier this season, playing out a 0-0 draw.
It was a close game, with neither side looking much better than the other. Now Wrexham are away from home and still not exactly scoring goals for fun, ensuring they don’t concede is imperative.
As a result, Parkinson could deploy the same backline that was very solid back in October, which would mean handing Scarr a rare chance.
Ryan Barnett, Eoghan O’Connell, the former Plymouth Argyle man, Thomas O’Connor, and James McClean were the back five versus Huddersfield last time out.
Scarr has featured in just two of the club’s last 18 League One fixtures for a total of 162 minutes but has shown promise in some recent EFL Trophy outings.
