Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are looking to win a third promotion on the spin following their takeover of Wrexham.
The Hollywood duo backed the club heavily upon their arrival, with a 15-year spell in the National League finally ended in 2022/23.
Wrexham then won promotion from League Two in the following campaign and are currently in the promotion mix once more this time around.
2024/25 is by far and away the toughest season the Red Dragons have faced since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over.
Teams coming down from the Championship and well-established sides in League One have a lot of quality players and there’s more money being spent.
Birmingham City, who are currently top of the division, broke the League One transfer record over the summer and now, another of Wrexham’s promotion rivals are set to spend big.

Wrexham rivals Huddersfield Town set to spend big in January transfer window
Ahead of league action returning next week, there are just two points separating third-place Wrexham and league leaders Birmingham.
However, games in hand mean the top six could look very different in just a few weeks, with fourth-place Huddersfield Town still firmly in the mix for automatic promotion as well.
The Yorkshire outfit are only four points behind the Red Dragons and still have a game in hand to play.
Now, it looks as though Huddersfield are going to strengthen well in January, with reports now emerging that they’re closing in on a £3m deal for Luton Town’s Joe Taylor.
Taylor’s addition will no doubt boost Huddersfield in their quest for a Championship return and Wrexham need to respond.

Wrexham yet to spend in January transfer window despite links
We are now 10 days into the 2025 January transfer window and it doesn’t look as though the Red Dragons are close to signing anyone.
A move for Patrick Bamford now looks unlikely after Leeds United boss Daniel Farke confirmed an injury blow to the striker.
But Bamford is exactly the type of player Wrexham should be targeting this month if they’re to keep pace with the likes of Huddersfield and Birmingham.
The duo haven’t been shy about spending big and McElhenney and Reynolds must now make funds available to Parkinson so he too can sign some marquee names for well over their current transfer record of £590,000.
Should they fail to do so, it’s hard to see Wrexham ending 2024/25 in a top-two position.
