Wrexham are set to sign Nathan Broadhead, and whilst the American fans may not be too clued up on his whereabouts, long-term Red Dragons’ supporters are already very aware of his incredible quality.
Following the injury sustained by Wrexham signing Kieffer Moore, it became apparent to Red Dragons boss Phil Parkinson that further additions were needed in the final third.
They have since made quick moves to sign another forward, with Nathan Broadhead set to sign for Wrexham for £10m.
Broadhead’s quality in the Championship is very well known, but the hefty price tag that Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have matched has stirred up a significant reaction from rival fans, with many believing that Wrexham have overpaid for the striker.
Nonetheless, Wrexham fans will be confident that Phil Parkinson has made the correct decision to splash the cash on Broadhead, especially after the quality he showed in his incredible Wales debut.

Wrexham fans pre-Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac debut were starved of success, meaning that they often had to turn to the Welsh national team for a glimpse of top-level football.
Those of Welsh descent will be fully aware of Nathan Broadhead’s capabilities on the international scene after his incredible debut for his national team.
In a close encounter against Croatia, who were leading towards the end of the contest, Wales forward Broadhead stepped up on his debut to rifle home an effort at the back post, showing an incredible ability to be in the right place at the right time.

Nathan Broadhead has shown his quality in the Premier League
During his time at Ipswich Town, he has shown himself to be a top-level Championship striker, and even one who can perform at Premier League level.
Ipswich struggled in the 2024/25 Premier League season, but the Welshman was a shining light for them on occasions, including against Arsenal.
Speaking after a clash at the Emirates, via the East Anglian Daily Times, McKenna said: “Full credit to him. It’s obviously been a bit of a slow burner coming into the season with a big injury in pre-season, but he’s getting more regular minutes at the moment.
“Every time he comes off the bench, he’s having a positive impact.
“It’s still another step to start a game, with the intensity that there is at the start of a game, but he’s working towards that.
“I think that, every time he’s coming on in different game states, he’s having a good impact at the moment.”
