Wrexham are now in the market for a new striker as we head toward the January transfer window.
The Red Dragons look set to splash the cash over the winter as they aim to put an end to a concerning dip in form and get their promotion push back on track.
Wrexham lost to Stockport County over the weekend and crashed out of the EFL Trophy earlier in the week.
One of the main issues Phil Parkinson is facing right now is a lack of goals from his strikers.
The Wrexham manager has been advised to sell Paul Mullin amid his poor form following the club’s long-awaited return to League One.
Mullin has just one league goal in 13 appearances this season and with Jack Marriott out injured until early 2025, the Welsh outfit have decided to look elsewhere in order to solve their attacking issues.
Wrexham are ready to sign a striker in January and are looking to snap up a forward who has Championship experience.

Wrexham linked with Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw
A new striker was also a target for the club over the summer, with Wrexham linked with Tom Bradshaw back in July.
However, the 32-year-old picked up an injury, which put an end to any potential exit from the Den in the most recent transfer window.
But with the centre-forward now back in action, Millwall could be tempted to cash in on Bradshaw early in 2025.
The Welshman certainly has Championship experience, notching 268 appearances in the competition for various clubs.
But his goal return of 58 in said games and his age mean there are probably better options out there for Wrexham right now.

Josh Coburn is perfect signing for Wrexham
One such option is a current teammate of Bradshaw at Millwall in Middlesbrough striker, Josh Coburn.
Coburn has been on Boro’s books for several years but fell out of favour after Michael Carrick became manager.
The 21-year-old is a powerful, strong, old-fashioned number nine with a keen eye for goal.
However, he does not fit what Carrick wants from his centre-forwards, hence why he was allowed to join Millwall on loan.
The Englishman has missed part of the season due to injury but returned prior to the November international break where he scored in a 1-1 draw with Stoke City.
Coburn is a proven goalscorer and given his age, he would be a much better signing than Bradshaw.
Middlesbrough have an option to recall Coburn in January and will likely be willing to activate said clause if Wrexham offer a decent transfer fee for the unwanted forward.
