Who has Matt Bloomfield signed at Wycombe Wanderers so far this summer
After just missing out on the playoffs in his first two campaigns at the club, Bloomfield has been active in the 2024 summer transfer window to strengthen his squad.
Wycombe shipped 51 league goals in 2023/24 but have now signed goalkeeper Nathan Bishop on loan from Sudernaldn to help tighten up their defence.
Further defensive reinforcement have been made in the form of centre-back Alex Hartridge and left-back Daniel Harvie.
The latter joined from MK Dons for an undisclosed fee, while Hartidge was signed on a free from Exter City.
One of Wycombe’s best additions this summer was Tyreeq Bakinson, who left Sheffield Wednesday on a free.
The central midfielder has shone in League One previously and has plenty of experience at Championship level.
Bloomfield has also brought Daniel Udoh, Jaiden Bartolo, and Brody Peart to the Adams Park Stadium on free transfers.

What does Wycombe’s pre-season look like under Matt Bloomfield
Wycombe kicked off their proper pre-season schedule on July 13th with a 1-0 defeat to Notts County.
The Chair Boys’ next official game then saw them held to a 2-2 draw by Colchester United on July 20th.
Bloomfield’s side faced Championship opposition in their following tie, beating Watford by three goals to two to give them a major confidence boost ahead of the new season.
Wycombe’s most recent game saw them draw 2-2 with a Chelsea eleven in a practice match of four x 30 minutes behind closed doors on Wednesday.
Their final game before they meet with Wrexham comes against Swindon Town on August 3rd.
What should Phil Parkinson and Wrexham expect from Matt Bloomfield’s Wycombe Wanderers
With Wrexham only ever having one season in League Two, the two sides have not faced off since 2008.
As a result, Saturday’s game will be the first time Bloomfield and Parkinson have clashed in opposition dugouts at their respective clubs.
But what type of manager is Bloomfield? The Wycombe boss has previously put a big emphasis on making his players happy.
Somewhat similar to ex-England boss Gareth Southgate, Bloomfield wants to create a culture and environment for the players to work in where there are demands put on them and they are held accountable for their performances.
While results have not been the most positive since the 40-year-old took charge, Wycombe have impressed on the pitch.
They are not the strongest side going forward, but their decent defensive record allows them to maintain a midtable position.
