Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has fallen out of favour under Phil Parkinson in recent months.
Paul Mullin has been instrutmental to the Red Dragons rising from the National League up to League One in just two years.
However, despite netting over 100 goals for the club, Phil Parkinson has begun to hand the striker a lot less minutes.
Wrexham signed Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez in late January, giving the Welsh outfit an over-stocked striker department.
The main victims of this have been Mullin and another long-time servant, Ollie Palmer.
Mullin was dropped for Wrexham versus Bolton Wanderers over the weekend, a decision that left fans somewhat confused.
But as we are now right in the business end of the 2024/25 campaign, Parkinson has a big call to make on the 30-year-old.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson must start Paul Mullin again
Mullin had a shin injury earlier this year but even after recovering from that minor problem, he continues to be left out.
He made the bench against Mansfield Town but has now failed to feature in any of the club’s last five League One meetings.
Given the centre-forward has only scored three league goals this term, it’s understandable why Parkinson hasn’t been starting him.
However, Rodriguez is the man who has taken his place in the side and so far, he’s yet to find the back of the net, scoring zero in six for Wrexham.
As a result, given Mullin’s history with the club and previous ability to find the back of the net, Parkinson should be looking to hand the 30-year-old an improved role in the coming weeks and months ahead.

Paul Mullin and Sam Smith could fire Wrexham to promotion
Despite signing two strikers in January, we are yet to really see Wrexham’s attacking threat improve in 2025.
They continue to rely heavily on the likes of Ollie Rathbone and Max Cleworth to come up with the goals, so why can’t Parkinson try a new striking duo going forward?
Smith is the best big man at the club right now, meaning the only change that can really be made to fix the lack of goals from the strikers is bringing back in Mullin or Jack Marriott.
Marriott has more league goals this term (5), but he’s not looked at his best since returning from injury.
The promotion battle is extremely tight, with just two points separating Wrexham and Wycombe Wanderers going into the midweek action, but if Mullin and Smith can form a good partnership, it will surely boost the club’s chances of clinching second place.
