Wrexham could still see more of their players depart the club ahead of the transfer deadline on August 30th.
Phil Parkinson has enjoyed an incredibly positive transfer window at Wrexham, regardless of whether further additions arrive at the Racecourse Ground.
The Reds have capitalised on their momentum and optimism following promotion by landing six new players, including goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, who made his move permanent.
Wrexham have completed most of their business early by investing in their defence and midfield, although the closing weeks of the window will see a focus on their attack.
Parkinson wants to sign a striker to partner Paul Mullin or challenge him for a place in the starting XI, with youngsters Will Lankshear, Kieran Bowie and Bailey Cadamarteri all linked.
Following the eight that were released at the end of last season, Wrexham could see more players depart before the window slams shut, so with that said, we take a look at who could be moving on from the Red Dragons in August…
Jake Bickerstaff – loan
A promising young striker, who graduated through the academy at the same time as Max Cleworth, Jake Bickerstaff is a player who needs to leave temporarily.
The 22-year-old will struggle to break into the first-team and as he’s been unused by Parkinson in pre-season, that suggests he could be on his way out.
Bickerstaff sees his contract expire in 2026, so it’s likely the Reds will offload him on loan following his six-month spell at Accrington Stanley last term.

Sam Dalby – permanent
The writing could be on the wall for striker Sam Dalby this summer.
Although he’s rated highly by Parkinson and featured prominently in pre-season, the 24-year-old sees his contract expire next summer, leaving his manager with a key decision to make.
Providing Wrexham sign a striker and Mullin is available to select from, Dalby will drop further down the pecking order and the best move he could make is leaving the club.
The Englishman scored just once in the league last term and there remain question marks over his ability, especially now the Reds are in League One.
Jordan Davies – permanent
Following the news that Grimsby Town boss David Artell is interested in signing midfielder Jordan Davies, the chances of him leaving Wrexham have increased exponentially.
The 25-year-old started just twice in League Two last term and having watched Wrexham sign George Dobson for their midfield, the Welshman would need to settle for a bit-part role.
Indeed, it seems unlikely that he’d play regular first-team football in Wales and with his contract expiring in 2025, it makes sense to let him go.
Anthony Forde – permanent
Anthony Forde was an important player during the National League days but injuries have seen him fall down the pecking order.
The former Wolves man now has to compete with Ryan Barnett and Luke Bolton for a place at right wing-back, which looks like an impossible task.
For the 30-year-old to enjoy the remaining years of his career, he must leave the club this summer, depending on what offer comes in for him.

Billy Waters
It’s been a frustrating year and a half for striker Billy Waters, who joined Wrexham in March 2023 as an emergency backup to Mullin.
Waters has since struggled to leave his mark on the first team, making just eight appearances for the club in 17 months and failing to score.
The 29-year-old even spent last term on loan at Doncaster Rovers in League Two where his woes continued as he didn’t find the net in any of his 11 matches.
Having played zero minutes for the Reds in pre-season, Parkinson has made his stance on Waters clear, with the Englishman not a part of his plans.
