Wrexham fans were very vocal against Derby County on Saturday, with summer signing Issa Kabore among their chants.
Wrexham drew 1-1 with Derby County in the Championship on Saturday, with Lewis O’Brien on the scoresheet for the Dragons and Ben Brereton Diaz for the visitors.
In the end, it’s another rather disappointing result for Phil Parkinson’s side who initially took the lead, but are once again made to wait for their first home win in the league this season.
But there were certainly positives to take from the game: Wrexham largely dominated possession and chances on goal and a win wouldn’t have been an unjust result for the home side.
Another huge plus was the performance of Issa Kabore.

Issa Kabore catches the eye of Wrexham fans
Wrexham signed Kabore on loan from Man City on deadline day at the start of the month. He’s since played three games for the Dragons and he’s grabbed himself three assists in total.
On Saturday, Kabore provided the cross for O’Brien’s goal in a game where the Burkina Faso international was constantly up and down the right flank, and constantly putting pinpoint crosses into the box.
His performance was certainly impressive and it caught the attention of the Racecourse faithful, who throughout the game could be heard chanting Kabore’s name.
It proves that he’s quickly become a fan favourite, whilst also proving that Parkinson made a great decision signing the Man City man on loan at the last minute.
Issa Kabore’s stats for Wrexham vs Derby County
Parkinson has heaped praise on Kabore’s form for Wrexham so far, and there were plenty of Wrexham fans on social media who hailed his latest performance against Derby County.
When we look at his stats from the game, it’s easy to see why so Kabore had so many plaudits…

With Kieffer Moore up top, and the likes of Josh Windass picking up any loose balls, Kabore’s crosses into the box could be a key source of goals for Wrexham this season.
Parkinson simply needs to ensure he doesn’t overuse the player and that he keeps him fit throughout.
Wrexham return to action against Leicester City on Tuesday night.
