Wrexham produced a classic Phil Parkinson away performance to grind their way to a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.
Parkinson revealed concentration was the key to his side’s victory and there were outstanding performances in defence from Eoghan O’Connell and Thomas O’Connor.
Ollie Rathbone once again starred in the Wrexham player ratings, whilst fans questioned Jay Rodriguez’s performance as his tough start at the Racecourse Ground continued.
Captain James McClean has been absent for the last four matches due to a hip injury and one player in particular has really stepped up for Parkinson in his absence.

Sebastian Revan proves his worth to Phil Parkinson in Wrexham victory
Sebastian Revan has played in the last three League One games in the absence of McClean and has showed that he is more than capable of delivering at this level.
Revan was superb against Bolton in the 0-0 draw in Wrexham’s previous encounter and had a solid showing in the 1-0 win at the John Smith’s stadium.

The wing-back was diligent in his defending and helped out O’Connor on the left flank all evening, whilst providing a threat going forward.
One moment in particular just before half time showed Revan picking out Ryan Longman with an exquisite cut back but Longman fluffed his lines in Wrexham’s best chance of the first half.
Parkinson has a number of options in Wrexham’s wide areas
Wrexham’s wing back options have totally changed in recent matches, highlighting the strength of the Red Dragons in terms of depth.
Ryan Barnett is still at the top of the charts in the league in terms of assists yet cannot get a game in front of the impressive Longman at the moment.

It is a great problem to have for Parkinson ahead of the promotion run in and the experienced manager will have an idea of which combinations suit which opponents.
However, Parkinson still needs to find the right blend in midfield and up top as the partnership of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez continues to underwhelm.
