Wrexham should be all over a loan deal for one Premier League star with the ‘world at his feet’, but they will have to compete with a fellow Championship side for his signature.
The Red Dragons have made significant changes to their squad in the summer transfer window, bringing in many players from Championship rivals.
Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac have shown plenty of ambition in providing Phil Parkinson with enough backing to build a squad fit for the Championship, with the club’s signing record being broken a number of times.
The most recent arrival at the Racecourse Ground is Nathan Broadhead from Ipswich Town, who has arrived at Wrexham for a whopping £10m fee.
It has often been the case that Wrexham have thrown money at their concerns, but they could turn towards one Premier League youngster who could be available on loan.

Wrexham could target Newcastle United gem Lewis Miley on loan amid Ipswich Town interest
As reported by The Mail, Ipswich Town are keen on Newcastle United youngster Lewis Miley in an ambitious loan move.
If the Magpies make it clear that they are willing to sanction a temporary move for the midfielder, Wrexham should certainly consider joining the battle.
The 19-year-old, who has previously played on 47 occasions for Newcastle United, looks set to be a squad player for the Premier League side after he was given a substitute appearance against Aston Villa, but the prospect of regular Championship football could tempt the Magpies into a deal.
Miley has heavily impressed in his career at Newcastle United, having notably played a full 90 minutes in an away clash against PSG in the Champions League.
He also has many admirers, including BBC Radio 5 Live commentator Pat Nevin, who said: “I always look at young players, the end product is not there, it’s about how they look at the game and how others want them on the ball. That’s when you know they are a top player.
“The way Lewis Miley glides on the pitch, there are few that can do that. He is an international in waiting and has the world at his feet.”

Wrexham should rely more on Premier League loans
Whether it is Lewis Miley, or another Premier League wonderkid who may become available this summer, Wrexham should be making the most of the loan market.
The Red Dragons have already suffered with a number of injury issues concerning several players in the squad, and whilst the funds are available to plug gaps with permanent signings, it would be far more sustainable in the long term to bring players in on a temporary basis.
Wrexham have severely bloated options in a number of areas, particularly in attack, where they have Jack Marriott and Jay Rodriguez taking up a significant chunk of the wage bill. If the Red Dragons are looking to build a sustainable club in the system, loans should be turned towards.
