Wrexham have allowed Luke Bolton to leave the club this weekend as the wing-back completed a move to Mansfield Town.
Much of the talk around Wrexham right now surrounds incoming signings.
Liberato Cacace joined Wrexham on Friday, completing his much-anticipated move from Italian side Empoli.
More deals are in the pipeline, with Bolton Wanderers midfielder George Thomason undergoing a medical with Wrexham over the weekend.
Wrexham are also eyeing Ajax’s Sivert Mannsverk, while reports now claim that a £10million budget has been set aside for a striker.
Amid all that buzz of potential arrivals, Wrexham have also sanctioned an outgoing deal this weekend.

Nigel Clough on Luke Bolton transfer
Luke Bolton has joined Mansfield Town from Wrexham, ending 18 difficult months at the STōK Cae Ras.
Bolton saw a Wrexham exit collapse last summer, but he is now on the move to join Nigel Clough’s Stags.
Wrexham have allowed Bolton to leave the club permanently, with the wing-back penning a two-year contract.
There is a certain level of irony about this move, as Clough was furious with a penalty given to Wrexham in 2024 as Bolton went down outside of the box against Mansfield.
Clough is now looking to unleash Bolton himself and told Mansfield’s official YouTube channel that he is excited to land Bolton.
Clough highlighted Bolton’s pace, even remembering him ‘destroying’ Mansfield during his time as a Salford City player.
The Stags boss believes Bolton can make a big impact in the final third, as he drops back into League One following Wrexham’s latest promotion.
“We’ve known and watched Luke and played against him in the last few seasons, many supporters will remember him destroying us here for Salford with his pace,” said Clough.
“He plays up the middle or on the right-hand side, he’s just another one to add to that forward pool that we’ve got. He’s only 25 years old, he’s got pace, he can score and can make goals as well,” he added.
Luke Bolton never really got going for Wrexham
We were excited when Wrexham signed Bolton from Salford City on deadline day in the January transfer window last year.
Ryan Barnett needed more competition, and the speedy Bolton brought proven League Two quality from his time with Salford.
Bolton featured in Wrexham’s promotion, but Parkinson was willing to let him go as early as last summer – just a matter of months after signing.
The 25-year-old failed to make a single League One appearance last season, meaning his prospects always looked fairly bleak heading into the summer.
Not only did Ryan Barnett excel in the first half of last season, but Wrexham then signed Ryan Longman in January to push Bolton further down the pecking order.
Wrexham haven’t often got it wrong in the transfer market under Parkinson, but Bolton’s Wrexham career never took off, and a parting of the ways is the best for all.
