Wrexham have said goodbye to Paul Mullin, but Phil Parkinson’s pursuit of new signings will continue.
Major news has emerged from Wrexham over the last two Mondays.
Last week, Wrexham completed the signing of Ryan Hardie as the Plymouth Argyle forward secured a move to North Wales.
Wrexham fans were hit with a departure this time, though, as Paul Mullin joined Wigan Athletic on loan.
Mullin’s playing time took a real nosedive in 2025, and Wrexham have decided to let the striker move on.
Phil Parkinson may look to move more players out of the STōK Cae Ras, but fans are also hoping for some exciting arrivals.

Liverpool boost as Wrexham chase Owen Beck
One new name emerged from the rumour mill over the weekend, with reports suggesting Wrexham want to sign Liverpool’s Owen Beck.
The Welshman is back at Anfield after a loan spell with Blackburn Rovers, but his first-team prospects are unclear.
Beck hails from Wrexham and could secure a huge homecoming by joining Parkinson’s side this summer.
Wrexham will be paying close attention to Liverpool’s left-back situation as a result and will be loving the news emerging from Anfield.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports that Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez is set to undergo a medical ahead of completing a £40million switch to Liverpool.
The Hungarian is expected to pen a five-year deal at Anfield and should complete his switch to Merseyside this week.
Kerkez is likely to become Liverpool’s first-choice left-back, and his arrival may help free up Beck for a departure.
Beck turns 23 in August, but 21-year-old Kerkez is now on his way and will certainly sit well ahead of Beck in the pecking order.
Having seen Liverpool sign another left-back, Beck is surely tempted to move on – and a move home to Wrexham should appeal.
Wrexham must also watch Andrew Robertson situation
Kerkez’s arrival may not be the only change as Liverpool shake up their left-back options.
Kostas Tsimikas could be available this summer, and Andrew Robertson is now wanted by Atletico Madrid.
The Daily Mail’s Lewis Steele reported last week that Atletico are confident of signing Robertson, but no deal has been agreed.
Any deal for the Scot may mean Liverpool hold on to Beck for pre-season before weighing up a move in August.
Beck is out of contract in 2026 and may feel that he needs to settle down away from Liverpool in order to kickstart his career.
Rousing The Kop’s James Brooke believes Wrexham may need to be patient over Beck, with some wheeling and dealing going on with Liverpool’s left-backs.
A permanent move to Wrexham should not be ruled out this summer, but a deal may take some time – even with Kerkez inbound at Anfield.
