Wrexham know that a number of players will need to leave the club before the transfer deadline.
Phil Parkinson has to name a 25-man squad at the end of window and Wrexham currently have over 30 first-team players on their books.
Sebastian Revan joined Burton Albion on loan in recent days and the likes of Jacob Mendy and Ollie Palmer are expected to join him in moves away from the Racecourse Ground.
One Wrexham player who would have been hoping to make a strong case to be in Parkinson’s plans this season has been mooted for a move back to League One.

Wrexham defender Dan Scarr could be set for transfer exit
Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘Rob.Ryan.Red’ podcast, journalist Rich Fay has claimed that Wrexham defender Dan Scarr could be set for a move away from the club.
Wrexham are interested in Calum Chambers from Cardiff City and it is thought that Scarr may make way for the former England international.
Fay stated: “I’ve heard that Dan Scarr could be off to League One as well.”
Scarr was hailed as ‘magic’ during the final few games of last season when he stepped in for the injured Eoghan O’Connell and helped guide the Red Dragons to promotion.
However, there are doubts over his ability to cope with the pace and power of the Championship and the defender struggled against Hull City – in particular up against Oli McBurnie.
Dan Scarr exit indicates further defensive signings for Wrexham
Parkinson will need strength in depth at centre back given that he likes to play a 3-5-2 formation and the Championship is a demanding league.
Should Scarr be allowed to leave for League One, it would indicate that the club are looking to bring in Chambers and perhaps one more defensive signing.

As for where Scarr could go, his former side Plymouth Argyle were recently relegated back to League One, whilst there could be the possibility of a deal involving Scarr going to Cardiff with Chambers coming the other way.
Reading are another club looking to bolster their squad and the experienced defender would be perfect for the project there.
