Wrexham are still looking for new signings but may also need to offload some players ahead of the summer transfer deadline.
Wrexham recently snapped up four players in an exciting flurry of transfer activity ahead of the Championship season.
Phil Parkinson shopped abroad for the first time as Liberato Cacace arrived from Empoli, before George Thomason and Josh Windass arrived.
Lewis O’Brien became Wrexham’s fourth signing in quick succession as Parkinson bolstered his numbers in rapid fashion.
With those new signings now on board, Wrexham may need to offload some fringe players either on loan or permanently.
Modou Faal could benefit from a loan move, while question marks continue to surround Ollie Palmer’s long-term future at the STōK Cae Ras.

Phil Parkinson on Jacob Mendy
Wrexham have already allowed Steven Fletcher to leave, while Paul Mullin has joined Wigan Athletic on loan.
Will Boyle and Luke Bolton have been moved on this summer, with more potentially set to go.
Left wing-back Jacob Mendy springs to mind here, with the Gambian falling down the pecking order in recent times.
Mendy battled James McClean and Sebastian Revan last season, before seeing Wrexham snap up Cacace earlier in July.
Mendy could be the fourth-choice left wing-back heading into the new season, and Parkinson has now admitted that he could leave.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Parkinson admitted that he wants to see Mendy go out and play first-team football away from Wrexham.
Parkinson believes that a loan move would be great for Mendy, and claims that ‘several clubs’ are interested in signing him.
The Wrexham boss added that he still has ‘a lot of faith’ in Mendy, but first-team football has eluded him of late and playing regularly elsewhere could be beneficial.
“Everybody knows the numbers situation is there. It’s a 25-man squad, including the goalkeepers,” said Parkinson.
“I’ve just spoken to Jacob Mendy about that. We need Jacob to go and play this season for himself. He’s a great example of that, a bit like Jordan Davies was last year, who got to the stage where he needs to play. There’s a few players in that category.
“I’m just mentioning Jacob because I’ve just been speaking to him. There’s several clubs who want to take him on loan.
“I’ve got a lot of faith in Jacob, but he’s just missed quite a bit of football last season for one reason or another. He needs to get back going again. One thing we’ve always tried to do is be fair to all the players because a lot of those lads have done so well for us,” he added.
Wrexham will have a decision to make on Jacob Mendy
Mendy has been a great signing for Wrexham, having been plucked from Boreham Wood back in 2022.
The move to Wrexham helped Mendy fulfil his dream of playing for The Gambia, and he has now picked up three caps for his country.
Mendy has played 77 times for Wrexham, but has officially gone down as a two-time promotion winner with Wrexham, rather than three.
If we had it our way, Mendy would be a part of the back-to-back-to-back boys, but he didn’t play enough League One games last season to officially go down as a promotion winner.
The rules state that a player must feature in 25% of a team’s games to officially qualify as being part of a promotion-winning squad, and Mendy only played four League One games.
That’s pretty harsh, but you can be sure that no Wrexham player would begrudge having Mendy as one of the players to win all three promotions!
Mendy now looks set to spend the 2025-26 season away from Wrexham, and Parkinson will face a big decision in 2026.
Mendy’s contract runs out next summer, but there is a one-year option in his deal, meaning he could stay until 2027.
That looks unlikely as things stand, but Mendy will hope to use a loan move to play regularly and catch Parkinson’s eye ahead of the 2026-27 season.
