Wrexham have been looking to add Premier League experience to their squad this summer, with an interest in Ben Davies.
Wrexham are expected to miss out on Danny Ings amid a potential move to Championship rivals Middlesbrough.
But they are signing players who have previously featured in the top flight of English football.
Conor Coady joined from Leicester City on Friday after many years in the top tier with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Lewis O’Brien has lined out in the Premier League previously, and Wrexham signing Ben Davies has been mooted this summer.

Wrexham transfer target Ben Davies on future
The left-back turned centre-back was due to become a free agent at the end of June 2025.
Tottenham triggered an extension to Davies’ contract, which keeps him in north London for another year.
But it has previously been reported that Wrexham remain interested in a move for the defender.
And Davies has now spoken out on his future, saying he’s focused on Spurs right now, but he did leave the door open to a potential exit ‘if something changes’, as quoted by The Athletic.
He said: “That is not necessarily under my control [his future].
“I reported for pre-season and I’m excited to be here. My focus is on how I can help this club this year and if something changes, I’m sure I will be picking up that call. Right now, I don’t see anything else.”

Wrexham move for Ben Davies now difficult but not impossible
Tottenham extending Davies’ contract this summer was not ideal, but it does not necessarily mean he is in new manager Thomas Frank’s plans.
Crucially, the Welsh international was not given a new deal, but rather the club simply triggered a clause in his existing contract.
They, as any good team should, have simply protected their investment as they are now guaranteed a fee for him this summer if he does go, rather than losing Davies for nothing.
It does mean Wrexham will now have to pay a transfer fee on top of what will likely be high wages to land the stopper, but Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds have shown this summer that they are willing to spend more than they ever have in previous windows.
