Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have given permission for Wrexham to complete a deal but their offer hasn’t been accepted yet.
Wrexham have had a very busy few days on the back of a 1-1 draw with promotion rivals Birmingham City.
The Red Dragons faithful have been left wanting when it came to any form of news on the transfer front this month.
However, it was finally confirmed on Friday that Ryan Longman has joined Wrexham in a six-figure deal from Championship outfit, Hull City.
Longman is now one of the club’s all-time record signings, with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney continuing to back the club well.
As well as welcoming a new player to the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham have tied two players down to new contracts this week.
Jack Marriott and Jacob Mendy, both of whom were out of contract in the summer, are now set to stay put until at least 2026.

Sam Dalby yet to accept Wrexham contract offer
One contract offered out by the club recently, however, has now been sat on the table for nearly a month.
Sam Dalby was sent out on loan to Dundee United in August following the arrival of Modou Faal.
The striker has excelled in the Scottish Premier League, sitting on a very impressive 10 goals this term.
There was talk Wrexham could recall Dalby in the January transfer window to aid their ongoing striker woes.
Now though, the club have confirmed via their official website that the player will remain at Dundee United for the rest of the campaign.
Crucially, they add that Dalby was offered a new contract prior to the winter window, which is yet to be accepted but remains on the table.
They wrote: “Sam Dalby will remain at Dundee United on loan until the end of the season.
“Wrexham AFC offered the player a new contract before the Winter Transfer Window opened and that contract remains on the table for the player.
“We wish Sam and Dundee United well for the remainder of the season.”

Sam Dalby doing what is best for him amid Wrexham offer
Prior to leaving on loan, Dalby was struggling to hold down a regular starting berth at Wrexham, falling quite far down the pecking order.
Now though, Dundee United want to keep Dalby at their club but have previously questioned if they could afford a permanent transfer.
However, if the striker does not accept a new Wrexham contract, he will become a free agent at the end of June.
This should open the door for Dalby to sign for whichever club he wants, including Dundee United, as they will not have to pay any form of transfer fee.
It does mean Wrexham won’t be able to recoup any money in the summer, but it’s a decision that will serve the player best.
