Wrexham fans can expect changes to Phil Parkinson’s attacking options in 2025 with deals potentially expected as soon as January.
Wrexham sit second in the League One table after Saturday’s 1-0 win at Burton Albion.
Phil Parkinson has racked up 200 home points and Wrexham continue to stay in the promotion mix.
Ryan Reynolds wanted another promotion this season and Parkinson has Wrexham challenging at the top end of the table.
Wrexham seem ready to spend on key additions for the second half of the season and beyond with Shaun Harvey has hinted at January signings.
Wrexham want to spend on a new striker and we should expect changes to Parkinson’s attacking options in 2025.

Wrexham striking changes on the cards
Jack Marriott’s injury hurt Wrexham and sparked a deal for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson as the veteran striker arrived on a free transfer.
Steven Fletcher’s return – and a change in shape – means Bodvarsson isn’t even getting on the bench at the moment and his short-term deal may not be extended in January.
Ollie Palmer has signed a new deal but Paul Mullin has still only scored one league goal this season and Modou Faal is a project.
Wrexham fans haven’t been impressed with Mullin of late and there are concerns that he may be left behind on this Wrexham journey.
Whether Mullin can find his feet or not, we are expecting to see Wrexham spend on a new forward come January.
One man we haven’t spoken about is Sam Dalby, who is on loan at Dundee United this season.
Dalby is out of contract at the end of the season and with no indication of a new deal, we would expect that Dalby has already played his final game for Wrexham.

Dundee United boss on Sam Dalby
We can’t imagine Wrexham’s stance changing here but Dalby’s form at Dundee United is difficult to ignore.
Dalby scored in Dundee United’s draw with Kilmarnock on Saturday, meaning he has scored six times in his last eight games.
Dalby just can’t stop scoring but looks set to leave Wrexham on a free transfer, which will surely spark major interest.
Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin wants to sign Dalby permanently but fears teams with bigger budgets blowing him out of the water.
Goodwin has now spoken about Dalby again, telling BBC Sport that he wants Dalby to stay permanently.
Goodwin wants to make sure that Dundee United are ‘at the table’ when Dalby decides his long-term future, but doesn’t want to cause too many distractions right now.
“We want to be at the table when those conversations need to take place,” said Goodwin.
“Right now we’re not wanting any distractions. Sam and his representatives know where we are and they know that we would love the big fellow to stay longer term,” he added.
Dalby may not have been prolific for Wrexham but he certainly worked hard and gave his all on this remarkable journey.
Few Wrexham fans would begrudge Dalby a big move at the end of the season and would no doubt cheer him on to scoring more goals – whether that is at Dundee United or elsewhere.
