Wrexham have secured a new signing having landed striker Modou Faal from West Bromwich Albion but have been linked with another forward on transfer deadline.
Phil Parkinson has been linked with attacking additions all summer and there have been so many names linked.
Wrexham have now pounced though with West Bromwich Albion striker Modou Faal completing his move to the STōK Cae Ras.
Parkinson has admitted being ‘delighted’ to have signed Faal having been impressed with him last season.
Faal scored 15 goals across loan spells at Doncaster Rovers and Walsall with Wrexham now enticed by his potential.
That could be the end of Wrexham’s deadline day business although there are theories suggesting that Josh Adam could join soon.

Wrexham linked with Niall Ennis
Faal’s move was confirmed early on transfer deadline with the famous HP printer announcing Wrexham’s latest arrival.
The speculation continues though and another forward has been linked with a surprise move to the STōK Cae Ras.
Reporter Darren Witcoop claims that Wrexham have enquired into a possible deal for Stoke City forward Niall Ennis.
Witcoop claims that Ennis is a target for a host of League One clubs on deadline day.
Barnsley are also thought to have made contact over a deal for Ennis ahead of the window slamming shut.
Ennis hails from Wolverhampton and came up in the Wolverhampton Wanderers ranks.
After loan spells at Shrewsbury Town, Doncaster Rovers and Burton Albion, Ennis left Wolves permanently for Plymouth Argyle in 2021.
Ennis thrived for Argyle, hitting 24 goals in 94 games to earn himself a move to Blackburn Rovers last summer.
That move really didn’t work out as Ennis scored just once in 12 games before reuniting with former Argyle boss Steven Schumacher at Stoke City.
The goals still aren’t flowing for Ennis and he has found the net only once in 18 games for the Potters.
The 25-year-old may now drop back to League One in search of goals and Wrexham are being linked with a late move.
Ennis to Wrexham surely a non-starter
Ennis has proven himself at League One level in the past and he could be a source of goals for somebody at this level again.
Hailed as a ‘special talent’ by former boss Ryan Lowe whilst speaking to BBC Sport, Ennis certainly has talent in the final third.
The Championship has been a step too far for Ennis but any League One club would be lucky to have him at their disposal.
A move to Wrexham just doesn’t seem likely though, especially after the signing of Faal just hours ago.
Paul Mullin is back from injury and Jack Marriott has impressed Parkinson in the early weeks of the new season.
Add in Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher, Sam Dalby and Jake Bickerstaff and Wrexham are now very well-stocked in terms of attacking numbers.
Adding Ennis after Faal just doesn’t add up and we would be surprised to see him arrive before the window slams shut.
