Wrexham have plans to strengthen the left side of their defence in the summer transfer window.
The Red Dragons won promotion to the Championship in April and are expected to make some key changes to their squad this summer.
Paul Mullin has left Wrexham on loan, while eight senior players were released, and a couple more, including Will Boyle, were sold.
In terms of incomings, Ryan Hardie and Danny Ward are currently the only two new names through the door.
Hardie scored on his Wrexham debut, impressing in a 3-0 win against Melbourne Victory before going off with a knock.
Now, an update on two of the club’s other targets has been shared.

Wrexham transfer updates on Owen Beck and Davis Keillor-Dunn
Reports emerged in June that Wrexham want Liverpool ace Owen Beck, who is thought to be available on loan this summer.
Elsewhere, a former player has been linked with a return to the Racecourse Ground after leaving for free in 2020.
It was said that Wrexham are interested in Keillor-Dunn, who is available for around £2.5m-£3m.
Now, journalist Nathan Salt has provided an update on both during the latest Rob Ryan Red podcast.
He said: “So Owen Beck, we mentioned that situation, that is the left-wing-back they would like.
“I’ve mentioned him a few times, Davis Keillor-Dunn. He increasingly looks closer and closer to going to Charlton, although I’m led to believe that Parky is still very much keeping tabs on that situation. My counter to that would be that they’ve known the price for a while £2.5m-£3m.
“If you really wanted to Davis Keillor-Dunn, you could have got that done by now.”
What has Phil Parkinson said about Wrexham transfers
It’s been a fairly quiet, though not unexpected, start to the transfer window for Wrexham.
Phil Parkinson generally signs players later in windows, as we saw in January with Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez joining on January 31.
Parkinson has commented on transfers this week, suggesting a couple of names were being worked on.
He said: “We’re having several meetings. What you see today on the training pitch, there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes. It’s never easy getting players. Even though a lot of players want to come to play for Wrexham, prying good players away from clubs who don’t want to sell them is never easy. But we’re trying our best.
“There’s a possibility of [signings flying into Australia], but a couple of the ones that I’d say are the closest are both away with their particular clubs at the moment. So there are slight complications.
“But when you’re looking to sign players who are at clubs, you know they’re training, they’re doing preseason, so as much as you want to get them integrated into your group, you know the fitness element will be there anyway.”
