Wrexham have been busy throughout this summer and have continued that trend on deadline day.
On Friday morning, Wrexham’s HP print was put into action once more as striker Modou Faal joined on a permanent deal from West Bromwich Albion.
With the backing of Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, Phil Parkinson has assembled an extremely competitive squad as eight new signings have arrived.
Despite feeling happy with his current squad, the prospect of still adding further additions to his roster remains a possibility as the clock ticks down.
Here is the latest news coming out of Wrexham…

Wrexham sign Mo Faal
It took them almost all of summer but Wrexham finally signed a striker to partner Paul Mullin in the long term.
Parkinson captured 21-year-old Faal on a three-year deal from West Brom after scoring 15 goals while on loan in League Two last season.
Faal will be looking to replicate such form in the third tier, as he aims to be part of the squad for their trip to Peterborough United on Saturday.
Wrexham fail in bid to Sheffield United striker Louie Marsh
Faal may have arrived on deadline day but he wasn’t the only striker on their radar.
Wrexham failed in their bid to sign highly-rated striker Louie Marsh on loan from Championship side Sheffield United.
Marsh, 20, scored in the Blades 4-2 success over Wrexham in the Carabao Cup earlier this month.
Chris Wilder was impressed with his display in that match and sees him playing a key part this season, meaning he is set to stay at Bramall Lane.
Wrexham linked with Stoke City Niall Ennis
Another prominent link to a striker emerged on Deadline Day, as Wrexham and Barnsley reportedly wanted to sign Stoke City forward Niall Ennis.
The Reds lodged an enquiry for the 25-year-old, who only joined the Potters in February.
At this stage, a move for Ennis looks highly unlikely, especially after Parkinson tied up a deal for Faal earlier today.
Jake Bickerstaff joins Altrincham on loan
Youngster Jake Bickerstaff was one of eight strikers on the books at Wrexham but the 22-year-old has since sealed a loan move to National League side Altrincham.
Bickerstaff endured a tough spell in League Two with Accrington Stanley last term however, dropping back to the National League could see him flourish at the side currently in 16th place.
The Englishman needs to play regular first-team football and a long-term future at Wrexham hasn’t been ruled out, though as Wrexham quickly jump up the leagues, time is running out for the clinical finisher to stake his claim.
