The transfer window slams shut on Friday night and Wrexham supporters are bracing themselves for a thrilling 24 hours.
Wrexham luckily completed most of their business early on in the window, as seven players were signed before a ball was kicked in anger this season.
The most eye-catching of those transfers was a club-record deal for midfielder Ollie Rathbone, who is currently settling into life at the Racecourse Ground.
So far, Phil Parkinson has prioritised bolstering his goalkeeper position, centre-back, wing backs and midfield but in the closing stages of the window, could sign a new striker.
As time ticks on, anticipation is growing at Wrexham, with several deals expected to unfold in the next 24 hours.

Where Wrexham are at in the transfer window
It’s been a hugely successful summer at Wrexham who have invested in a lot of players with the future in mind, targeting many aged 23 and under.
Their positive actions in the transfer window have reflected on the pitch as Parkinson’s men have taken seven points from a possible nine, which sees them sitting fourth in the table.
Wrexham are therefore satisfied with their squad as most positions have at least two quality players battling for a place in the starting XI.
But, as previously said, if the Reds are to complete any business between now and the window slamming shut, a forward player looks the most likely addition.

Possible incomings at Wrexham before Deadline Day
A striker has been on the agenda for quite some time. Wrexham have coped well without starman Paul Mullin, scoring eight goals in their first four matches.
The 29-year-old returned for the final quarter of an hour against Reading but Parkinson would still like to sign a centre-forward to partner him, especially because all of their eight goals have come from different scorers.
In their attempts to capture a centre-forward, the Reds have missed out on John McAtee, Will Lankshear and Bailey Cadamarteri, among others. However, a move for Sheffield Wednesday striker Michael Smith could still be on the cards.
Smith was left out of the matchday squad for the Carabao Cup win over Grimsby Town and if Owls land a centre-forward, the 32-year-old could join Wrexham.
Meanwhile, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds have also reportedly seen a club-record £750,000 bid for Preston’s Will Keane swatted away.
Whether it’s Smith, Keane or another player who signs, Wrexham could be busy working on signing a striker right until the deadline.

Potential Wrexham exits before Deadline Day
Parkinson has a huge squad to select from at Wrexham and it means several players miss out on a matchday, with multiple needing to find a new club.
Billy Waters is a prime example of that. The 29-year-old hasn’t featured for the Welsh outfit in a competitive match since August last year and needs to be shifted on.
Waters isn’t the only striker vying for an exit, as Jake Bickerstaff could also leave on loan, with the 22-year-old desperate for a full season in League Two.
Bickerstaff did send a clear message to Parkinson with his hat-trick in a reserves win against Stoke City but that wasn’t enough to feature in the squad last weekend.
Anthony Forde is another who could leave before deadline day, as the experienced right-back is fourth down the pecking order, behind Ryan Barnett, Seb Revan and Luke Bolton.
The above names are the three most likely to leave, with Wrexham anticipating plenty of activity going out of the club before Friday’s deadline.
