Wrexham face Shrewsbury Town this weekend and this is effectively the big derby of the season with no games against Chester or Tranmere Rovers on the horizon.
Every Wrexham game appears to have an added edge these days.
That is something Jack Marriott has noticed with every fanbase up and down the Football League ultimately looking to ruin the Wrexham party.
That means new rivalries may emerge but there will be certain games for Wrexham fans to circle on the fixture list.
With Chester in non-league and Tranmere in League Two, all eyes turn to Shrewsbury Town.
Shrewsbury avoided relegation from League One at the end of last season and that tees up a couple of big derby games.

Jack Marriott on Wrexham v Shrewsbury Town
This rivalry was stoked last season as then-Shrews defender Tom Flanagan mocked Wrexham players ahead of an FA Cup clash.
Wrexham had the last laugh with a 1-0 win in that game and a repeat display this weekend would certainly go down well.
Shrewsbury head to the STōK Cae Ras as one only two League One games taking place on Saturday due to the international break.
Striker Marriott has now been asked about this weekend’s game as he prepares for his first Wrexham v Shrewsbury derby.
Speaking to TalkSPORT (04/09, 9:25am), Marriott admitted that he is expecting a ‘good atmosphere’ as Shrewsbury fans head to Wrexham.
Marriott noted that journalists around Wrexham have told him that Chester is the biggest rival, but there is ‘a lot of needle’ between Wrexham and Shrewsbury.
Marriott added that this is an exciting game and one he is looking forward to after a strong start to the season.
“It’s going to be a good game, a good atmosphere,” said Marriott. “It is a derby, the journalists here were saying to me that Chester is the most local one but Shrewsbury, there’s a lot of needle there between the fans. It’s an exciting one, I’m looking forward to it,” he added.
Marriott taking his chance for Wrexham
Marriott joined Wrexham in January but didn’t exactly hit the ground running, scoring just once before the end of the season.
Wrexham fans may have held some doubts over Marriott but he has really stepped up.
Paul Mullin’s injury meant that Marriott started the season alongside Ollie Palmer in the Wrexham attack and he will now take some shifting.
Marriott scored a runner on the opening day against Wycombe Wanderers before then bagging the opener at Peterborough United last weekend.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has paid tribute to Marriott for his intelligence and work rate whilst Peterborough’s Darren Ferguson has praised Marriott for his finishing in front of goal.
Mullin is now back from injury but he won’t just walk back into his team with Marriott stepping up with goals and performances for Wrexham.
