Phil Parkinson took charge of his 1000th game as a manager on Saturday when Wrexham hosted Peterborough United.
The 57-year-old joined Wrexham in July 2021 and has gone on to enjoy tremendous success.
Now in League One, Phil Parkinson is looking to secure a third-straight promotion with Wrexham.
This is by far and away his most difficult task since arriving in Wales, with the quality of teams much higher in the third tier.
The Red Dragons are giving it a very good go, however, and kept their hunt for automatic promotion alive over the weekend by beating Peterborough United 1-0.
It was a slow start to the game for the home side but Steven Fletcher eventually scored the winner, taking his League One goal tally for the season up to five despite rarely starting.

Phil Parkinson praises Steven Fletcher after Peterborough United
The Scotsman’s goals have helped Wrexham draw with Cambridge United as well as seeing them pick up wins over Blackpool and Wigan Athletic.
However, despite Ollie Palmer being critised by fans vs Peterborough and Flecther excelling after replacing him once more, the 37-year-old still probably won’t be given too many starts going forward.
Fletcher is out of contract at the end of 2024/25 and his advanced age means he rarely completes 90 minutes.
Speaking after the match to the club’s media though, Parkinson claimed that if Fletcher was 10 years younger, he’d be worth at least £50m.
He said: “He’s just an incredible player. I think if he was 10 years younger he’d be a £50m player, at least.
“Because he’s just such a talent, he’s a great lad, always about the team, always there to advise the younger players.
“He’s a terrific fella, he really is. The lads absolutely love him and I’m pleased for him to have special moments.”

Phil Parkinson verdict on Wrexham win over Peterborough
Wrexham remain third in the table after Saturday but following Wycombe’s draw, they are now level on points with second place.
As well as praising Fletcher post-match, the Red Dragons boss also gave his overall verdict on the tie and mentioned the assist Ollie Rathbone produced.
“It was always going to be a tough game – fourth game in quick succession. Of course the intensity levels from both teams were going to be difficult to replicate from previous games.
“We limited a team with a lot of attacking talent to nothing and the moment came for us with a brilliant cross from Ollie Rathbone and a great goal from Fletch.
“I don’t think we should underestimate four games over the Christmas period and how hard the lads have worked.”
Wrexham are next in action on Tuesday against Port Vale in the EFL Trophy.
