Wrexham will look to keep their unbeaten run going as Gillingham travel to the Racecourse in a first League Two game since October. Let’s take a look at our predicted XI.
Since a 5-0 loss to Stockport County, Wrexham haven’t lost a game and have been in superb form in league and cup.
Last time out Phil Parkinson’s side came back from behind against Port Vale and secured a place in the next round of the EFL Trophy.
Goals from Paul Mullin and James McClean cancelled out the Vale opener and saw the three points go the way of the Reds.

The opponents at the Racecourse this weekend are a ninth-place Gillingham side managed by Neil Harris.
It is safe to say that the Gills’ recent form has been patchy. In their last five games, they have won two and lost five.
The Reds will be hopeful of maintaining their unbeaten record as they target second spot in League Two.
So here is our predicted XI to face Gillingham…
Wrexham predicted XI
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Despite some heavy rotation in the past two games, the team will revert to a more familiar look this time around.
With that being said, Arthur Okonkwo is going to retake his place in between the posts for Wrexham. Following Luke McNicholas’ start against Port Vale, the Arsenal loanee will be itchy to get back in and start.
There were some positive performances against Vale in the defence but in our predicted XI, we have gone for tried and trusted.
In the wing-back roles, Jacob Mendy and James McClean are going to come back in to start. The Irishman was in top form last time out and was up for plenty of praise following his first Wrexham goal.
The centre-half trio against the Gills could be any iteration which makes it hard to guess in this predicted XI. With that being said, George Evans, Ben Tozer and Thomas O’Connor are who we have selected to start at The Racecourse.
In midfield, again, there are plenty of options for Parkinson to choose from. We have predicted a starting recall for Luke Young after Andy Cannon’s injury. Alongside the captain, Elliot Lee and James Jones are likely to keep their places.
Upfront chooses itself right now. With Mullin suspended and Steven Fletcher injured, there are limited options. After his goal against Mansfield, Sam Dalby missed out against Notts County but will return this time round. Alongside him will be Ollie Palmer who will be looking to score in consecutive League Two games.
Against Vale, Billy Waters started up top. After some less-than-favourable reviews, it is unlikely he will keep his place.
Wrexham predicted XI: Okonkwo, Mendy, Evans, Tozer, O’Connor, McClean, Young, Lee, Jones, Dalby Palmer
