Wrexham striker Ryan Hardie started up front against QPR on Saturday, in a game that proved to be another frustrating one for the Dragons.
Wrexham are yet to properly get going in the Championship this season after another poor result and poor performance on Saturday.
Before the break, Wrexham beat Millwall 2-0 in a game that looked like a turning point for Phil Parkinson’s side.
And despite adding three new, quality players on deadline day, Wrexham were beaten 2-0 by QPR on home soil in another game that raises question marks over Parkinson’s capabilities in the Championship.

Wrexham lose at home to QPR in the Championship
It wasn’t a good performance from Wrexham at the Racecourse on Saturday. The Dragons found themselves two goals down by half-time thanks to an own goal from Conor Coady and then one from Richard Kone before the break.
Wrexham tried to get back into the game and did so with Kieffer Moore scoring his fifth goal of the season midway through the second half. But Rumarn Burrell sealed a 3-1 win for QPR, and a relatively easy win too.
Wrexham signed Hardie from Plymouth Argyle this summer paying £700,000 for the striker, who’s stepped into the XI with Josh Windass facing a stint on the sidelines with a muscle injury.

Wrexham fans question Ryan Hardie after missing big chance vs QPR
After going behind, Wrexham had a golden opportunity to get back in the game through Ryan Hardie who missed from a tight angle on the half volley.
Posting online, fans seem to think it was a big miss from the Scot who’s so far scored once for Wrexham since signing in the summer, but is yet to score in four league appearances.
“Hardie. How did you miss that!” asked one Wrexham supporter, as another wrote: “That’s two games he’s missed a gimmee.”
Others weigh in, too. One Wrexham fan wrote: “He’s got to be scoring those at this level,” and one fan even made this Paul Mullin point, saying: “Mullin scores that.”
This Wrexham fan added: “Hardie please just hit the target from there.”
Wrexham are back in action against Norwich City next weekend.
