Wrexham fans could see Paul Mullin line out for the first time in over four months as early as this week.
Along with Ollie Palmer, the long-time club icon lost his place in the League One matchday squad in the second half of 2024/25.
The duo featured in the League One defeat to Stevenage on January 28, 2025, but didn’t line out in the league again after that.
Paul Mullin did come off the bench in the EFL Trophy against Peterborough United on February 26 but has been sidelined since that defeat.
As a result, it didn’t come as too much of a surprise when the Wrexham striker was loaned to Wigan Athletic last month.
Now, as pre-season gets underway, Mullin could be set to make his first senior appearance for over four months.

How Wrexham fans can watch Paul Mullin make Wigan debut
Mullin will spend the 2025/26 campaign on loan with Wigan, who are set to get their pre-season underway later this week.
The Latics will clash with Chorley on Saturday, July 5, kicking off at 3pm UK time.
It is an away fixture with Wigan travelling to the Grant Store Victory Park Stadium.
Tickets have been on sale since June 6, but the club confirmed this week that there are still some seats available for fans looking to attend.
- Adults – £12
- Concessions (65+ and students on production of student card) – £8
- Under 18s – £5
- Under 12s – Free with Parent
The highlights of the fixture may be shown on Latics TV, though the club is yet to confirm if that will be the case for their pre-season fixtures.

Paul Mullin Wigan Athletic contract details
While he won’t feature for Wrexham again in 2025, Mullin’s Wigan contract details mean a return is still on the cards in the second half of the upcoming season.
This comes with journalist Nathan Salt sharing that there is an option to recall the striker to Wrexham in January.
Meanwhile, Wigan are paying 50 percent of the player’s wages and don’t have an option to buy clause.
He stated: “I’m led to believe: 50/50 on the wages, no option to buy there, recall option in January.”
