One of Wrexham’s Championship rivals have been linked with a takeover from a billionaire this week.
Wrexham fans are more than familiar with the success a takeover can bring to a football club.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac bought the Red Dragons in 2021 and have completely transformed the Welsh outfit.
Just this week, Wrexham earned a place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup for the first time in over forty years.
Meanwhile, they have made EFL history by winning three promotions in a row under the guidance of Reynolds and Mac.
Their North American owners are showing no signs of losing interest, and their plan to grow Wrexham even more is clear.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac want to sell Wrexham stake
Over the summer, it was reported that Reynolds and Mac want to sell a Wrexham stake.
The club were given a valuation of £350m at the time, and the report of fresh investment gained a lot of attention.
Finance expert Adam Williams suggested that Turki Al-Sheikh investing in Wrexham would be the ‘biggest deal Saudi Arabia has done in football’.
Al-Sheikh previously owned UD Almería and has been linked with a potential takeover of a Championship team this week.

Turki Al-Sheikh comments on Bristol City takeover
Reports emerged recently that Al-Sheikh wanted to buy Bristol City.
The Robins are competing at the top end of the Championship this season and could be in the promotion mix come May.
However, the Saudi billionaire has now taken to social media to dismiss reports he’s taking over Bristol City.
He wrote on X/Twitter: “It is not true that I will buy Bristol City FC.”
Wrexham are yet to confirm any further fresh investment following the Allyn family coming on board in 2024.
