Wrexham are set to play in the Championship in 2025/26 and they have already garnered the attention of one manager.
Wrexham made history when they secured promotion from League One and ended their campaign with a win over Lincoln City.
The Red Dragons finished on 92 points, securing second place in the division behind Birmingham City.
Wrexham and Birmingham’s rivalry dominated the media attention surrounding League One at times due to Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney, and Tom Brady’s involvement.
And the celebrity-driven fixture will continue into 2025/26 now both teams are back in the second tier.

Blackburn Rovers manager’s warning amid Wrexham and Birmingham promotion
Wrexham and Birmingham were two of the biggest spenders in League One during the summer and winter windows.
Now, Blackburn Rovers boss Valerien Ismael has mentioned the duo in a warning about how tough the league will be next year.
As well as having to deal with teams coming down from the Premier League, Ismael was quick to highlight Wrexham and Birmingham, and the big budgets that will be in the Championship for 2025/26.
He said, as per the Lancashire Telegraph: “We know how the Championship is. Next season will be a really tough league again.
“From the Premier League, the curve is coming up. From League One with Birmingham and Wexham, then we’ll have more teams with a big budget for sure. So it will be a big competitive league again.
“So we have to be clever. We have to be strong in our way to play. We have to be clear when the first matchday is coming which way we want to go.”

How much Wrexham can spend in Championship
It’s easy to see why Ismael is already talking about the Red Dragons and their League One rivals going into next season.
Ben Foster thinks Wrexham will earn more than any other team in the Championship from TV revenue next term.
Meanwhile, in part due to TV money but also because of increased sponsorship and matchday revenue, the Red Dragons could have £40m available to spend.
Wrexham will quadruple their wage budget as well, which will see the Welsh side paying out in excess of £40m.
