Wrexham are several games into their return to the second tier of English football, a level they had not competed at for 43 years.
Phil Parkinson has not enjoyed the easiest of starts in the Championship, with the Red Dragons currently occupying 16th in the division following only two wins from their opening six fixtures.
Both these wins have come away from home, with this creating a piece of history for the Welsh side, as it was only the third time ever Wrexham won consecutive away second tier matches.
While Parkinson has seen pressure increase on him after their poor start to the campaign, this has also happened to a Championship rival, who has had to do the same reflection as the Wrexham manager in order to correct the issues holding them back.

Norwich City’s manager forced to rethink approach after Wrexham defeat
Liam Manning, the Norwich City manager, was not pleased with their defeat to Wrexham last weekend, as their performance was not to his standard.
Wrexham beat Norwich for the first time in 55 years, which led to boos to ring out around Carrow Road for the home side following the performance; now their manager has addressed this with Pink Un.
He said: “I have made it quite clear what it means to me in terms of being here. We’re going to lose games, but it’s more the nature of how you do it. That was the frustration because we didn’t leave it all out there.
“My job is obviously to reflect on those performances. The behaviours have to be on the money; that’s the bare minimum people should expect. We want the fans on board. We want the fans to get behind us.
“Really honest. That’s the biggest bit, and the players were super-gutted.
“There’s been a few lads stepping up and owning aspects of it in training this week. You have to be honest with yourself. You then have to understand how do you change it? But not carrying forward any negativity or emotional hangover. You have to park it and move on.”

Phil Parkinson’s opinion on the victory over Norwich City
Phil Parkinson sent a defiant message following their victory over the Canaries as he eased pressure on his job.
Wrexham climbed away from the relegation zone with their victory over Norwich, and their manager was pleased with the performance, as well as the result.
As reported by the BBC, he said: “We pushed ourselves to the limit today to get that result.
“We’ve got quality, but we’ve got to work to get the distances right between the units all over the pitch.
“The home game last week [against Queens Park Rangers], we were just too open. We weren’t at Millwall or Southampton, but in the home game, certainly last week, we made it too easy for the opposition to play.”
