Wrexham came away from their meeting with Birmingham City with a point thanks to a stunning Ollie Rathbone goal.
It was a massive occasion when Wrexham played host to Birmingham City on January 23rd.
The Red Dragons were dealt a 3-1 defeat earlier this season in the reverse fixture but should have been much more confident going into this tie.
Wrexham were undefeated at home since March 2024 and Birmingham were without a couple of their key players on the night.
When all was said and done at the Racecourse Ground, the points were shared and Ollie Rathbone was the home outfit’s Man of the Match.

How Rob McElhenney reacted to Ollie Rathbone goal vs Birmingham City
The midfielder has come on leaps and bounds since his £500,000 move from Rotherham United over the summer, becoming more and more of a goal threat.
George Dobson praised Rathbone post-match, dubbing the midfielder a ‘top player’.
Meanwhile, one Wrexham supporter has captured how Rob McElhenney reacted when the 28-year-old netted his stunner.
Wrexham vs Birmingham was shown in an immersive dome in LA and the Always Sunny star was in attendance.
After Rathbone’s goal, McElhenney was spotted standing up, high-fiving several of his friends.

Rob McElhenney speaks out after Wrexham vs Birmingham City
The actor spoke to media after the game as well, with McElhenney sending a message to Wrexham and sharing his verdict on Birmingham.
He said: “I just want to say thank you for an incredible game tonight.
“1-1, I’ll take that against Birmingham City, who is probably the best side we’ve played this season.
“Up the Town forever, hope to see you soon.”
Wrexham are next in action on Tuesday evening against Stevenage and should be desperate to secure three points as the battle for second place heats up.
