Wrexham is rollercoaster of a football club, one moment they are preparing for an EFL Trophy quarter final, the next moment they are shooting an advert with Hollywood superstar Channing Tatum.
Wrexham host Bolton Wanderers at the Racecourse Ground in the EFL Trophy quarter final but their preparations would have been slightly distracted by a visit from actor Channing Tatum.
Tatum revealed he was nervous at shooting an advert with Wrexham and that striker Steven Fletcher ‘scared’ him during the production of the advert.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are always looking for new ways to commercially develop the club and Antony Hopkins has also commented on the advert for Stok Cold Brew Coffee.
It wasn’t the first time Tatum had visited Wrexham this season but another A-list celebrity has also been talking about the North Wales club in yet more publicity for the Red Dragons.

Eva Longoria shares how Wrexham owners have increased interest in football in North America
Speaking to The Athletic, Eva Longoria has been discussing her own recent purchase of Colombian side La Equidad with the Wrexham owners and how the interest in the documentary series Welcome to Wrexham has driven up interest in football in North America.
Longoria stated: “My approach to it is as an entrepreneur, we can do a good investment and at the same time I can make a difference with my platform to get more press, sponsorships and media coverage that help the investment.”
The actress is hoping to replicate Wrexham’s successful documentary series with her new Colombian side and feels there is such power behind showcasing what goes on at a football club.
Longoria explained: “I feel like sports is entertainment. Storytelling through soccer is so powerful because the stakes are so high. The drama of winning and losing, injuries, firing a coach, bringing in a new player – the excitement is built-in drama.
“You could never write this. I was like, ‘wow, this is this is the biggest soap opera I’ve ever seen’. Every player has a story. Every team has a story. Every town has a story.”
Wrexham is becoming a more attractive option for players
Wrexham’s ultimate goal is to reach the Premier League and whilst there needs to be a high-level of focus amongst the players at matters on the pitch, the positive publicity received by the club can only be seen as a good thing moving forward.
Attracting players to the club is going to be needed if they can secure League One promotion and reach the Championship.

Players that may previously have turned their nose up at the Wrexham project may now look upon the club as a chance to get their name up in lights with the A-list feel around the place.
Wrexham fans have had mixed views on the new Kop Stand however, nobody can deny that the club is heading in the right direction with the new stadium and positive results on the pitch.
Wrexham are well on their way to continue their rise through the English Football League and it seems that they have an entire continent in support of their venture.
